If that's the case, and I hope it is, where would I buy one from? Has anyone got a link to a website where you can buy VW parts, and find out part numbers etc..? I only ask as I've currently got a BMW, and there is a site for part numbers for that. How do I put up a pic? I'm sure you would all approve!

The guy who's selling it is off travelling, and what with the few bits that need to be done to sort it all out, I reckon he's keen to sell. One other question though for anyone out there, wing mirror has a bad scratch, a fair bit of paint off. Can you replace just the cover, or is it a whole unit that needs replacing?

Although, not particularly good news from my point of view re: the skirt, although I guess it gives me plenty of negotiating material! £90 a corner seems a bit steep for the Dunlops though! I'll perhaps take a look at the smaller tyre size you suggested. ;)I reckon I'll be able to pick it up for £4k!

I'm currently negotiating the purchase of a red 2004 Lupo Gti, with 20k on the clock. The only problems with it, it needs 4 new tyres, and the driver side side skirt is damaged after the owner reversed into a granite bollard. 2 questions 1. What tyres should be used on the standard alloys? 2. Where can I buy a GTi side skirt from, and how much should I expect to pay? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
