i tell lies? Haha. I had to put mine back in, i am surrounded by pot holes and speedbumps! Plus carrying four people with no adjusters wasnt a fun experience either
-
Mine are wound all the way down and it is fine on speedbumps too - just keep the rear adjusters in, they are defo needed haha!
-
That is ace!!
Very well done!
-
Yeah would go with 15s too.
Subtlty is the key - Debump stripping, debadging, black vw badges, stubby ariel. All cheap and look really cool!
-
Is there any difference in distance you can see? ie will i see less of the road infront of me?
-
Cars coming along well, will have to update soon. Got BMC fitted, polished the heat shield, roof lining is now black along with visors etc and i am putting in rear tt seats atm! Just need to find fronts.

Was thinking of spraying the insides of the headlight clusters black - just wondered is this legal?
Thanks,

To clarify do you mean the air intake connects to the inside of the cone and outer part of the cone (pointed bit) connect to the engine side.
Thanks

Today i fitted my bmc to my lupo 1.4.
Fitted it with the side that says engine to the samco hose. However all photos of bmc's on other cars, i see my stickers on the bmc are the opposite way to everyone elses. .
Does this mean i have fitted it the wrong way round, or the stickers were just put on differently?
Thanks,
Greig

Also sanded and resprayed a tax disc holder blue and black to match the car.

Next thing on the list is to retrim the roof in black fabric and redo the roof handles in black also.

I would lose the back badges and spray both vw badges black for stealth

Ok will drop in past them sometime.
Also got my vinyl today

ok, managed to get the rest of the panels off, with only a couple of broken clips, but cheers for offering your help.
-
Bought vinyl to redo door cards in my lupo and wondered what adhesive you guys would recommend.
Also would you suggest removing the fabric that is already on them, or just sticking the fabric on top?
Cheers,
Greig

Forget being known as the Granite city, having the 6th worst roads in the UK in Aberdeen is what we should be known for!
I put mine back in when i had 14s - might have just convinced me to remove them again haha
