Just wondering about imobalisers? I have the "BKD" engine and ECU and was wondering if it is coded to the origonal car? or is there some form of protection. Not at this stage yet, but looking for info. Simon.

I am fitting a Diesel 2.0l 16v turbo engine with 6 speed box into the Lupo which was a 1.7sdi.

I love the Lupo shape so thought it would be a good idea! to do an egine conversion to one. So here are a few pics of my yellow 1.7d. And this is where I am now in the project.

In my honest opinion, slow (for the moment). But think of the fuel saved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone, Just got a bright yellow 1.7 sdi. Very impressed with the build quality. Its my first venture into the VAG scene. Got a few plans for some mods. Pics to follow. Simon.
