What sort camber have you got on the front. I have a camber guage and mine are perfect, I no if you have more the 1.5 negative camber then you will spin up easyer than others.

you dont need a rear wiper take it off and but a rubber gromet in the hole, looks so much better.

I did mine a couple of weeks ago, you have to push the sensor in and keep pressure on it then push the clip on. Very simple

Sorry for busting in on this thread Im think on an engine coversion next year. Mines not to bad just the odd puff of smoke in first gear every so often. I need to do some research and find out the easiest conversion, as I dont see the point in replacing it with another sport engine unless I find one at a gd price.

Could this possibly damage anything else, or just get worse.

Mine uses a fair bit but in 2 months I have done 2000 miles, I get a slight puff of smoke when I give it beans in first but its fine flat out after that. I use castrol 10w-40w oil Ive not lost power and its still going strong, I raced my mates yaris t sport 105 bhp and i he never pulled away stuck to his bumper, though mine was stripped out, but standard engine wise.

Mine too. I have bolted my pedal box so it will never break, but I get that creaky noise. Not sure what it is as the clutch is quite heavy. The only thing I can think of next is to replace the clutch and cable. Am I right think this would be the problem.

lol Sweet, I will wind them down friday when I finish work. What does everybody do with there break line and ABS wire I have cable tied them up, wil this be okay.

yeah, I changed the air filter no oil in there it was fine bit dirty but all good. I no that white smoke indicates head gasket blue smoke indicates oil burning and black smoke is fueling. I think this is right

Prep it yourself, heat the plastic just right and you can push the numberplate recess out pretty well, smooth it with as little filler as possible and then rub it down. May take all weekend but should save you some money, then get it sprayed by the garage

Short shifters are not good. I used to work a Tran-X expert in making Dogboxes and syncro straight cuts boxes, I learnt that short shifters half the life of your box and damage the syncro rings, the faster you change the less time the gears have to mesh. I would keep your old one on.

Hello, I bought a black lupo sport 2 weeks ago since then I have given it a full service cam belt change disc and pads and bolted the pedal box with my mate, he is a member on here (frankie) the car it self has got 57,000. I bought it of a young lady in manchester, I have noticed when I give it bean in first I get a slight bit of black smoke then it clears is this anything to worry about. Im running 10w-40 oil and run v-power fuel Just ordered some FK silverlines Cheers

how do! Im a proud owner of a black lupo sport : ) Its great I got it for a bargain price as the lady was moving abroad. I will post some pictures very soon, the paint is like new and it has not bin messed with. I have given it a full service new discs up front with pads, Cam belt is being done on friday. New aero wipers to be fitted then springs and wheels. I have a new pedal box I might fit soon. How on earth do you do that? Cheers kid

Hey Im simon, I am new to the forum. Today I might be purchasing a lupo sport, But Im worried! she has owned it for the last 3 years. The cam belt and head gasket was replaced at 20000 miles but Is perfectly fine now its on 57,000. I think it was due to a faulty water pump. Its completly standard, should I stay away from it.
