  1. Hi, if i'm trying to smooth the bumper of a car using the gradient tool, the result gives matching colours but the texture is too smooth. If i add noise i find it too 'fine' and i need to pixilate the picture almost to allow it to match the other parts of the car. (but no pixilate options are correct) Any suggestions? btw, i am aware how to pixilate Thanks
  2. yhyh nice GTI, obviously thats not perfect either though... Worst mistake you can make is over-saturating the colour anyway and i didn't change the environment its in - it hasn't moved!
  3. Sorry, got to disagree with you there. The colour looks pretty good from where i'm sitting. To you it might not look anything special, but when you're taking so much of other cars, warping, distorting and colouring...it takes time. By all means show us one of your chops which is special... Thanks for the constructive criticism anyhow! Conor
  4. Not sure if this is what you wanted and its a quick and ****ty chop. But here you go anyhow m8 personally i think they look sweet
  5. Please tell me what you think
  6. HHhhmm thats not what i mean. Right, imagine you have 4 layers, you want to merge those layers to one but still have both the 4 layers and the one merged with all the four together.... Think that makes more sense. I can be done =S Just not sure how!
  7. Won't those wheels be at the complete wrong angle to fit??
  8. Does anyone know hold to create one merged layer from all my other layers, but still having them available underneath the merged layer? sounds confusing i know, but i don't know how to word it! =S Thanks!!
  9. Hi, i am able to change the colour of a whole car, using hue/saturation etc... However, i'm working on a blue lupo at the moment and i'm trying to change the colour of the door....using hue/sat i can't get the best colour, still seems dim and unreal or not as bright. Whats the best way to get a decent colour change? I've also tried colouring over with a block coloued brush, but when i change the opacity to allow the original light sources to show, the blue colour underneath shows through, again giving a dodgy colour!! Please help...suggestions??
  10. No, that's decent. How did you do it? I think yours is probably the best!
  11. This one's awesome...thanks
  12. Yeah, that is quite good atch. Shame his hair went black as well though!!
  13. Hi, i've been using Photoshop for a while now and posted a few of my cars on here, but i'm struggling creating shadow on a persons face. Here is an image, could anyone use photoshop to create a shadow across his face much like the one on the left? notice how light is used to define the cheek bone. I know this hasn't got much to do with the photoshopping of cars, but i'm going crazy here trying to figure it out!!!!!! If anyone could help it'd be much appreciated For the larger image - http://i707.photobucket.com/albums/ww80/Eu...inson_1_jpg.jpg (...oh, and i've tried using the burn and dodge tool!)
