  1. Going to be looking for 6k with the splits, 5k with the standard wheels. Milage is just on 66k atm, so well below average mileage
  2. Just a few shots, nothing changed.... just enjoying it for now! May be up for sale September time. Got a hankering for a mk5 gti with a DSG box!
  3. No not quite... you've never replied to a thread of mine Just noticed on the forum with how you come across
  4. Was going to say, scotty_82 obviously hasn't replied to any of your threads yet then
  5. Whaaaay! At last some pictures! These my old ones? Looks good man! You happy with them?
  6. Cheers man I think my drive has got a few little bumps in it but the rear has settled a bit and I'm happier with the ride height now Thanks! I'll keep an eye out on your thread, see how the test fits going Not sure, will have a look when I'm next fiddling with the car and let you know Thanks very much man Got to save for a month or two though so won't be much happening for a little bit bad times lol
  7. Yeah that ET is pretty low, my rears are the same width and offset and I'm scrubbing with 185/45s on
  8. Thanks for the comments... got a cheeky side on shot, this rain has been doing my head in. Having to clean the wheels 2 times a day, neighbors must think I'm a right nutter!
  9. Thanks Yeah I might just cut my standard springs and see what happens, no harm done if it doesn't work lol! You don't think the contrast will work? How about mk5 gti seats instead then? Cheers man Thanks I'm running the same all round mate, 185/45s
  10. Thanks for the kind comments I'm not happy with the back end though, its not low enough, yet the adjuster is out too! Don't know what else I can do really? When I"ve saved up a little bit I'm going to get a gloss roof and mirrors I think, I know everyone does it but it should look trick
  11. No unfortunately not... ronseal's wood stain would work if you have a pot of that though?
  12. Barnsley, no offence but you really don't know much about cars do you? The plastic has to be tig welded and then put in the oven for 2 hours to bake. Hopefully this should work.
  13. Cheers! I didn't have any poke when I had the modernlines on, they were flush with the arch, so may have about 10mm poke with the BBS's going to run 185/45s but haven't had archwork done so might be next on the cards! lol Thanks man, I'd highly recommend it, makes the car look so much fresher. Fingers crossed the rears don't scrub aye Thanks for the compliment
  14. Lol Get it done mate, I just had enough of the stone chips everywhere, ruined the car I paid £360 for the bonnet, bumper and wings which I thought was pretty reasonable?
  15. Thanks The Modernlines were 15x8s and the BBS's are 15x7.5s at the front, et20 and the rears are 15x8s, et 14, so should be spot on hopefully!
  16. Thanks for the nice comments Well sold the modernlines yesterday and sent the funds through for these last night, should be coming from Germany and at my door Thursday... fingers crossed Thanks, Ad
  17. Well got the lupo back from the body shop today, well chuffed! Just scared of driving it now and getting chips all over the bonnet and bumper again Might be looking at a px for some bbs splits soon as I'm after a change
  18. No the oils viscosity is too thin for brake fluid. I've found honey is a capable replacement. Try that first mate. Any luck with changing the wheels round?
  19. Good lad, glad my mechanical knowledge came in handy for once! ha
  20. No your getting mixed up, to fix the tracking you'd have to swap your front wheels for the back ones and vise versa
  21. Went in for a front end re-spray today, getting the bonnet, bumper and wings done as they were quite badly stone chipped from the winter driving. had to pop back earlier as I left something in it, eeeek scary stuff
  22. Looking good, looks real tuff in that last picture!
  23. Ad....

    MK3 Golf?

Used to have a mk3 valver before my lupo and loved it, real comfy inside and with a decent set of coilies handled well too! Although the Vr sounds amazing I kept up with my mates all day long, yet could manage 35-40mpg if I drove carefully
