  1. i brought my sport 18 months ago, bog standard in black. but its had a new peddle box this year, i had the roof repainted (under warrenty) due 2 corrosion on the gutter rails its got 77k miles on the clock with fsh, it took me a while 2 find 1 but it runs like a dream & yes it does suprise other car drivers. keep looking ul find 1
  2. i had mine done few months back, it was done at a main vw bodyshop 4 free, i had 2 have photos 1st then a paint depth 2 c if it had been painted before, it took bout 3-4 weeks 2 get done start 2 finish tho
  3. It had a new water pump and the cam belt changed in November. I am baffled!! Do you think its highly likely that it could be the head as i'm not convinced...
  4. Cheers for that mate, i don't really wanna spend £600+ if its not even the head gasket
  5. My heaters haven't been working properly, they only blow hot air when you cane the car. Took it the garage and they reckon it is my head gasket..... but my oil and water are clear??!! They reckon its the head coz it is bubbling?? Has anyone got any views????
  6. I took it to the garage and they reckon it is an air lock and are gonna have it in! It is odd as when the revs are hitting 3 ish the heaters blow out hot air but when the revs drop, when i am doing 30mph or when the car is still then it goes back to cold air! I am still not sure!!
  7. it has had a new waterpump & thermostat fitted iv checked 4 air lock & seems ok il book it in i think dont really want it going pete tong just yet
  8. Hi there, i am hoping someone will have some ideas for me!! I bought a W reg 1.4 lupo sport 100bhp at the weekend and I got it home and realised that the heaters aren't working properly and blow out cold air. Sometimes i will get hot air blowing out when the revs are high but when the revs are low, cold air blows out even though the temperature gauge says the engine is up to the correct temperature! Have checked the coolant level which appears to be fine and the fan cuts in when the engine gets warm but there does seem to be alot of pressure in the header tank. Would this contribute to the heaters?? Does anyone know what the problem could be???
