Hi all, I am looking to buy a Lupo 1.4 16V Sport. However I noticed that the heater only seems to work when driving at 60/70mph. At 30/40mph or stationary it'll only blow cold air through the vents. The temp guage sits at 90 degrees where it should once warmed up and the engine sounds and runs the way it should - smooth. However the owner mentioned she let the car overheat last summer and ignored the warning lights on the dash. When the car went into the garage they found out the water pump had failed. As a result the cambelt & waterpump was replaced. My question is could the overheating and cold air through the vents possibly mean a new cylinder head? This car has got 55,000 miles with regular services. Any advice is appreciated.
