  1. Best thing to do is drop it right to the bottom then start working up till you get no rubbing. Tbh you should be able to go all the way to the bottom on the rear and take the adjusters out and should still be able to take a full car. Front is slightly different. Just got to find what suits your roads/driving? The best thing about coilovers are they are adjustable.

  2. Ive not posted on here in ages. Reasons for the lupo packed in on the way to UD. The little beast is now running as sweet as a nut and booked in for a MOT on monday. :sweating: Since i havent had her on the road properly iv been gathering a few bits and pieces  Will update on monday and maybee give you a sneaky peek at the new shoes and body parts.

  3. Just remember take your time with it. Use a hair dryier to soften the glue then use a old credit card or dental floss to remove the badge from the paint work. Once your left with bits of glue just use a cloth and some tar/glue remover and work it in till you have a new shiny tailgate. Remember to polish and wax the area after this as you have stripped your protection back to the bones.

I have some bottles of tardis for sale that will quickly cut through the glue thats left over if you want some.

  4. If its for bumpstrips i recomend the old fashion polishing cloths and some AG tar remover and a bit of elbow grease. Be patient. If you try to pick it off you might catch the paintwork. Also use a hair dryer to soften the glue and use your thumb to ease it off.

  5. Welcome Mate. Not many people on here from Scotland let alone Edinburgh. I would give you a hand but im in Ayrshire. Pop on to Scottishvag.net and put a post up. You'll have them fitted before the weekend. Just remember when your putting them on take out the helpers from the rear and wind the front right down.

  6. My neck lasted for 8 months, whereas my wrist lasted just over 6 weeks.

I have one left in the back of my neck that has now been in there for 8/9 years. Got it done before surfaces bars were out and it was done with a standard 10mm bar slightly bent. Had no problems used to take it out for work now its been in there for years without any problems.
