Am potering along at 70 and I get a loud noise that is in speed with the car up to 80 and is gone by 85 thing is I can feel this through the floor all the wheels are in balance. O one other note is it doesn't do it if I put my foot down but will do it lots when I come off. it's just at 92k Any ideas thanks Jon

Am not sure as you may know your self the GTi has a torsion bar and disc's so it would have to have the torsion bar

Is the rear sesspention arms the same bettween the 1.4 and the 1.6 ? I need a new one witch if any one has for sale that would be great

Does this make sence? If the noise suppressor is on the ignition live and the suppresser fails Would that result in the stereo not switching on but still let you operate the CD eject ? It's a JVC and anexpensive one and am hoping it is the noise suppresser Thanks

My stock stereo needs a code that Mann Egerton (the car's original dealer) don't have the corect one. I phoned Liverpool VW as these are closer to me and thay said bring the car in between 8:00 and 17:00 witch is what I work and to boot they can't do it on a weekend Weldone VW Liverpool

O sorry the 5 spoke revolutions I had 4 spoke revolutions on the mini

True but I've seen sets ranging from 350 upwards, I may do the odd track day but I don't think I need an expencive set up like that So back to topic what are others using

Hello all Being new to the Lupo I do intend to lower my GTi but I want to get a feel for what is the nut's and what is not. So what are peeps riding on? how low and what wheel's. Am after something I can adjust the ride hight on as I want, and play with the damperning. Thanks Jon

Being from the mini fiternity I did look into starmags but the biggest they do is 13 witch is to small althouugh revolutions I've had 10's in and I beleve they do as big as 15"

You got an image Gibbeth someone else mentioned classics to me.

The borbets are 14 years old and never been on a car am sure they were 15" back then
