Garry has had to source many obscure parts for me and Mitch so thats why he is up on it
I've had 3 different 3L fronts on mine and I wasn't really happy until I got all the correct parts for it. I think doing it with all the new parts cost in excess of £1,000. Thats not including the labour for Mitch making my sill sections and welding them in or having the parts painted. Personally I wasn't happy until I had it done that way but it depends how much of a perfectionist you are. The wings are the most expensive part at £250 each.

I've always left orange indicators on everything but I don't think Lupos suit it.

Good job on saving it

I still have a hankering for a 106 Rallye with a GTI on ITB in it.

Probably something like they were changed one year and then this set has been made up of two pairs. I had something similar with a set of Zender Turbos.

Design is nice but the black lips let them down.

The Lupo is tucked away under a blanket of snow. Daily driver on the other hand...

A 1991 Citroen AX GT500 purchased in 1994 or thereabouts (probably before most of you were born lol).
Had it for 2½ years and then wrote it off coming round a blind bend only to see an HGV parked right in front of me. I had to decide whether to go round it (risking a head on collision) or a trip into the undergrowth by veering off the road. I took the green option and bent the chassis
1360cc, 85bhp and weighed about as much as a tin of beans - a very respectable bhp:tonne ratio
Loved that car........
Used to see these a lot when I was a kid. Don't ever see them nowadays. Used to be one near where I lived for a long time but even thats gone now. I always liked the look of them.

Question is how many of the people only running cheap tyres have run good quality tyres? They do make a difference, even more so in the wet. Nankangs are alright in the dry, at best, but they are nothing short of totally **** in the wet. I had them on my Vento purely because no one else did that size, but I hated the tyres.
