hi all, just bought the misus her first car. 1.0 lupo. im having problems getting it into reverse and also fourth gear. when neutral it seems that the gear stick is further back than it should be as my 1.4s centre neutral is different than this. i appreciate any help. thanks, lee.

Yeah ive seen his car and i love it. i wanted to buy it when he was selling but he changed his mind before i got chance to ask him

thanks alot. its only you who seems to help me out on here. ill go get one in the morning. do you think this will rectify my problem? oh and yeah ive checked and changed the oil and there is no leaks or anything. i just want the car sorted now ive had it for around 3 weeks now and had nothing but problems with it. i wanna spend some money making it look its best rather than getting it fixed now. lol. thanks again!

hi i have still got the problem with the oil light coming on when the car is running between 1 -2 x100 revs with a hot engine. i have been told it could be the oil pressre switch. could this be possible? if so where can i get one from and roughly how much?

Did this problem cause the oil light and running problem, because the car went into the garage on tuesday and the guy rang me yesterday saying that the engine is nackered.

Hi, i have been havng trouble with the running of my Lupo 1.4 16V ever since i bought it. The plugs have been oiling up causing the car to miss fire. also the Oil light is coming on when the engine is hot and i am driving the car between 1-2 x 100 revs, but goes if i accelerate. i have been told that the piston rings may have gone and this is why i am getting this problem. Is this a common fault?????????

yeah changed the oil the other day and now its at the right level as it was too high. i was thinking it could be a blockage in the sump valve????

Could any one please help diagnose this problem i have just bought a Lupo 1.4s and it will not idle properly. also when i am running the car between 1-2 thousand revs the oil light keeps flashing and beeping but if a accelerate it dissapears. If you have any ideas on what it could be please help. thanks, lee.
