Hi all,
Since Apple have removed he headphone jack from the iPhone 7 I'm looking to update the connects2 3.5mm audio jack adaptor I have attached to the CD output of my standard VW Gamma radio.
Has anyone seen a lightning connector equivalent?
Thanks!

Pick a drill head relatively the same size as your rivet or slightly smaller.. Drill straight on the centre of the rivet, and take it down to about level with where the metal beneath it is, should just pull off from the other side then. Really simple to do.
Thanks!
The same width as the rivet or the same width as the rivet head?

I'm going to replace the b pillar trim this weekend. Mine is riveted in. I haven't drilled a rivet out before so was wondering if people with experience could talk me through how it's done. I have replacement rivers and a gun ready to attach the new trim.
Thanks!

The Bathurst centre caps cost around £20 each from VW if memory serves me correctly. Part number 6E0 601 149 A GRB

I swapped the front and rear wheels over and the noise appear to have shifted! @sausage the tread is no more worn inside. I might just swap it for a new tyre.
-
It was on my agenda to do just that tomorrow!
Thanks guys. Will let you know the outcome.

I've replaced the rear bearing with a genuine part as I swore this is what the noise was to no avail. The tyre on this particular wheel is a year older than the rest but not much less worn hense me wondering whether it would be an alignment issue?

Is there such a thing?
I'm noticing a slight grumble/whirring sound on the n/s rear, and it isn't the bearings. Wondering if it could be an alignment issue causing it.
Thanks!

I have a 2005 Laser Blue GTI and a 2003 Raven Blue GTI. The colour of the one on eBay looks too light to be Laser...
Here is Laser Blue for reference:

Hello!
I'm looking for a drivers side lower door card (speaker grill and netting) and a rear passenger side storage compartment box.
Both need to be in dark grey/black and scratch free!
Anyone got either of these parts?

Same issue here. Nothing loads on my iPhone : /

It's a spare that I've had for a few years and I'm looking to sell as part of a clear out. It's takes up a fair amount of room!

Looking for around £140

I have both o/s and n/s splash guards for a Lupo for sale. Removed from a 2005 GTI (I'm unsure whether they are GTI specific or not).
Both are in immaculate condition and have been jet washed subsequent to removal.
These are £45 each from VW. I'm looking for £60 the pair.
Collection from N7, London but a courier can be arranged at the buyers expense.
Give me a shout if you have any questions!

Thanks. Is it a used part? Do you have any photos?

What variant of the badge is this? I.e. Lupo/Golf?
-
Lovely. Are you using spacers on the rear?
-
Thanks Ray.
I'm on 205 tyres so I think 17 will be too much. I'm just undecided between 10mm and 15mm.

I'm looking to space the rear wheels of my GTI out a wee bit to match the appearance of the default fronts.
Having done some reading it appears as though there is a 20mm difference between the front and rear track (10mm each side). Am I right in assuming that if I get 10mm spacers for the rear then the match I'm after will be achieved? Or would 15mm be better? Does anyone have any experience trying to achieve the same thing? I don't want any risk of arch rubbing.
The alloys I'm running are BBS RS814's. Size: 6.5J x15 / Offset: ET43 - exactly the same as Bathursts.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

205.

Wheels update!
The company that refurbished the alloys for me made a bit of a pigs ear of the outer rims and ended up having to buy me a complete new set!
Here they are:
And today I got them fitted:

Thanks all. I am using the adaptor at the moment but was wondering if there was anything around that I could update the current setup with. It'll all be fine as it is until I need to charge my phone at the same time as using it for music!
