sadly unable to attend as lairy green lupo is no more style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> gear box and clutch went at same time (told sdi box is weak) would cost to much to repair, so had to sell car and cut loses. felt sick like i'd been mugged but had no choice as car needed for work.... good news is i can start saving for gti now which hopefully won't be long style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> so hope to see u all soon.

just seen pictures they look really good, brilliant meet (my first) everybody was really friendly and happy to talk to the new guys which makes a big difference when u don't know anybody. cars looked fantastic and meet was well organised ( well done kat ) sorry had to leave so soon but had a great time. thanks to u all.

got problem sorted, took car back to mechanic who checked it over and found that one side hadn't seated right. cheers for the advice guys.

just had car lowered 40mm with new springs and shocks for lupo diesel, but when i go over speed bump get a banging noise from front.Also when i turn steering wheel from lock to lock i get a clunking noise, also get this sometimes when pulling out of junction's.Does anybody have any idea what's wrong? cheers daz. p.s got 15" wheels.

car looks great , was the nos expensive to get fitted(if u don't mind me asking) thinking of getting it fitted to my diesel. is there a choice of horse power? and how long did it take?

Thought i'd tell u how car's going, bought bright green lupo diesel for work bloke could not sell because of colour.Got home and checked web site out and lupo bug bit, had car about three weeks and spent 1k already the usual stuff like wheels.Spent 4 hrs in sheffield yesterday having stainless cat back system fitted, well worth it 1 of the sweetest sounding oil burners i've heard. Can't fault guys at ascar, did fantastic job and saved me loads of money by repairing my cat and not replacing like i was told by another garage.Done a few other subtle changes like changing badges so now it is a sought after tdi style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> Loads more ideas like leather interior and lowering(next job) and poss xenons if they would fit? When is the next vw or club lupo meet? would like to check out some other members cool cars. Any input or advice would be most welcome, cheers new and forever lupo owner!!

alright mate, are u still selling gti shocks and springs? if so how much and when. getting desperate cars to bouncy!!!! let us know, cheers pal..

hi to you all, just bought a bright green lupo sdi and thought i'd check the site out (very impressed).looks like a great bunch.car standard apart from some 15"alloys and moon eyes arial ball.few probs to sort like new exhust and brakes but otherwise fantastic car.look forward to seeing some more cars, and meeting some new faces at upcoming events. :roll:
