Any Lupo GTI owners from Teesside here?

Im thinking the temp sensor mote have gone cus it appears ---.--- on the dash Isit costly to repair? Should I still drive it?

No BMC fitted everything is standard. But the fan comes on quit alot is this something i need to worry about my mate said its suppose to happen to keep the engine cool Do you think thiers a link between the fan and the temp inside the car showing ---.--- But temp guage is central not high.

1.6 Lupo GTI 2002 6x Speed 1. Is the fan suppose to come on quit often? 2. How do i get the in car temprature dial working on the dash it appears ---.--- 3. Pertol Smell 4. What is the max revs you should really take the car? 5. What shouldnt you do to a Lupo GTI Cheers!.

Thier is a 2-3 VW dealers near by but surely they will only say the same thing because i was told the part i want is not in the coutry rite now,so i guess this includes other dealers too. This got me abit worried u see cus its only a power steering hose, i cant imagin what it would be like finding other parts lol.

Thanks for your replies. At the moment i really need a Power Steering Hose because mine has a hole in it were can i get this part from? The dealers are saying it can take upto 1month. Any contact suggestions please. Thanks.

I have just bought a 2002 1.6 VW Lupo GTI 6 Speed. Just wanted to know exactly how hard is it to get parts for this car. Iv been told the car is quit rare so if something did go wrong would i find it difficult to find parts? Thanks.

Hiyer Guys. VW Lupo 1.6 GTI 2002 6 Speed. Just need some help, my power steering hose has a hole, it has leaked all the power steering fluid out, seems this was caused by the hose snapping from the clip on the side of the engine from the chassis frame, it rubbed against the cambelt and drilled through the hose. Parts Needed: New Clip and New Power Steering Hose. My car is at the dealers at the moment but they are finding it very difficult to get hold of this particular part, they said it can take up to 1 month. Does anybody no were i can get this part from, has anybody experianced this problem and what woud be the best way to get this rectified. Anything to help... part numbers, fix suggestions, advise please. Thank You.

Hiyer Mate. Iv had exactly this problem i urgently need a replacement hose do you have any idea were i could get one from apart from the dealers cus they are taking ages.
