I have a VW MFD fitted, but can't get any radio reception. I had an alpine before and also got poor radio reception and was using a halfords aerial booster.
I'm not using the booster now because I thought it wouldn't need it.
Anyone else with a MFD fitted, what's your reception like and are you using a booster?

You can, and I have tried but its pure luck if they will work or not. Just want to try a disc that someone can confirm should work.

Has anyone got a Teleatlas CD for a VW MFD that I could borrow to check my MFD.
I only have a copy at the moment and its not working, so want to try another CD that someone can confirm should work. Don't mind what year or country, just want to check its working. Will cover postage etc

Think AP's are around £350-£400. Do a quick search or ring Awesome GTI they will do you a good price.
You might want to replace your front top mounts if they are old. They are not much and you can get them from GSF or Euro Car Parts.

Have the same problem, always cleaning my BBS because of brake dust even after a 12 mile drive I have to do them. Fronts are always worse due to more braking done at the front

Only roller paint if you want a rat look

i wouldn't use any sealant, get RTV silicone sealant as used by BBS its better to do it right first time.

Just lower to your personal preference. You will soon know if its to low because you will hear the OS driveshaft knock and you can also check to see if its been rubbing. Put car on full lock and look at the OS driveshaft. If its catching just raise it slightly and keep trying till you are happy. Or get the chassis notched.

Standard seats are good as said, but could be better. Look at MK4 Recaros in cloth.

I've got the popular Genuine Polo one that everyone says works perfect. Does the GTI need a power supply to the aerial?
