  1. yeh this is such an easy job to do, as above i dont it within 2days of havin my lupo, job takes about an hour all together and thats includin takin the headlights of the car etc, i dont mine with matt black

  2. the golf w12 actually had a w12 twin turbo engine (one engine) the lupo has one engine in the front, one in the back (two engines = 2 x V6)

    yes producing 641bhp and is twin turbo, but the bloke who made the w12 lupo called it that himself, its 2 tuned v6 lumps

    ive just been quoted £120 for the rear number plate recess to be smoothed from a body shop with a very good reputation, whats peoples opinions on that?

    wot body shop is that as im lookin at gettin a few bits done on my mk4 gti and im only down the road in chelmsford

    and for all the people back down the thread who are sayin about how much power handlin etc, until u have had a lupo with that much power and set up rite dont keep goin on when really u dont no, my lupo had 330bhp wheter i abused it round town on a track or eatin alive porkas etc all the way to 175 it handled well was not front heavy and not alot could touch me, gettin the power down wernt even that much of a problem if u can drive properly its easy

  5. omg they came today, im going to put them on mine now! going to take my manifold off and put 2 in there then 2 in my back box cause thats what give sthe car the power, then ill put the other 2 sticing out the tailpipe cause itll look goood , so i got performance increase of about 87.2bhp and then a lovely sound which will give me another what 23.9 bhp. BARGIN I RECOMEND!!

    no they stopped making these wheels for over a year ,but have now made them to order in any stud pattern etc, as i used to conctantly ring them go to WWW.DUBMEISTER.CO.UK they have them on there, works out about £500 for the set without tyres, then ur best bet is to get tyres of ebay there so much cheaper on there

  7. gettin the power down aint as bad as u think. obv u gotta no wot ur doin but it aint as bad as evry1 thinks its gonna be. i cant stress enuf to get this conversion done. its a harder conversion than people fink tho lookin at mine. but well worth a go if ur very clued up on this sorta fing jus be patient wiv it. wot show is on down the pod in april then?

  8. i dont no to much about the 1.6.16v gti engine but i used to be in the saxo n 106 scene and i no that from a 1.6 16v tu engine u can make 341bhp for 10grand and then have 100bhp shot of nos and the car has been ragged and is stil runnin now 4months down the line. there is also a 205 wiv a 1.6 16v tu engine with 313 bhp thats also been on the road for a year and is stil runnin so its possible u jus gotta be prepared to spend alot of money and time on it

  9. yeh thats how i done it inside the rim from outside lip to outside lip. surely 195's on a 9inch wheel would have a massive stretch and 10 would be stpid but the fronts aint got a stretch at all???????????

  10. if your lookin at doin anything more than a remap, different turbo and like air filter ,exhaust ur gonna need a standalone management for sure on the 1.8t lump. ive got an emerald on minething is wiv the standard ecu is you cant map them well enough

  11. i thought i would measure the wheels on my car atm to c how the new ones wil fit. the new wheels are 15x8's but a few people said they mite rub on a sport shell.

    well ive jus measured the wheels on there now and front measures 9inches and back 10inches. but i must be doin sumfin wrong coz both front and back wheels have 195/45/15 tyres with the rears stretched.

    does any 1 now how to measure wheels properly or is it just as i have done and gone from one side to the other mite sound stupid no but bit confused??

    no its not a competition but sound like thats what you want to make it. if u cant handle havin a slow car buy a faster one simple

    I take it you have the original gearbox in the car? mabe wiith a longer ratio finish?

    so 135 in 4th? what's your engiine rev too? 12000 rpm, don't insult our intelligence. its quite clear you don't have a clue what your talking about, and didn't go to school with the state of your grammar!

    theres many a person on here, who have done degrees in motorsport and automotive science and have been in the industry for years. and know your talkng out of your rectum.

    if you can get 175 out of the car ill eat my shoe, not possible unless your running a completely after market gearbox. a sandard gearbox will take you to mabe 155, but the engine will be hitting 9000rpm.

    do yourslf a favour and think before you type!

    no ur rite i didnt get nufin in school i left in year 10 but im now earnin a wedge and have been since i was 16 so no need for school.

    erm yeh funny enough i do no quite a bit

    if it had a 1.4 box in it it wouldnt be goin no were. its got an o2j enj gearbox in it from a mk4 golf gti turb wiv different ratios.

    it actually does 140mph in 4th and revs to 7k.

    my mate has an ibiza that does 165 and i was pullin away from him at that speed.

    if u honestly dont beleive me come down il take any1 for a drive in it
