Hi, am going to take the calipers apart at the weekend and see If I can clean them up. Think there's rust in there so maybe a clean up with a new pistons and seals will do the job.

Hi, can anyone recommend a brand and p/n for replacement front calipers for a Lupo GTI. I'll need to get new discs and pads as well so if anyone has a 'proven' modded or upgraded solution that gets around the unavailability of the OEM parts, I would be keen to know. Regards

If Rich is living in a pothole in Cheam 😉 then that makes three of us already in the local area. Possibly the beginning of something? It could develop into something bigger and more inclusive and a lot of fun? I need to get out more!

Lupogtiboy Is that Drift Bridge VW? Am just down the road from you in Bookham. Would be good to go for a beer. I just bought my GTI and have a ton of rotational noise coming from the front off side. Bearings were changed a couple of years ago, and its passed all MOTs with no issues! Will get FOS bearing changed next week, but am leaning towards replacing the front tyres. Would be good to get an expert opinion!

Hi, just purchased a Lupo GTI and I can only find Toyo TR1s in 205/45 R15! Upping to 50 or 55 profile gives many more brands and price options and would be a bit more comfortable on the shitty road surfaces? Does anyone have experience or recommendations running on 205/50 or 205/55 profiles on the stock rims? Thanks

I'll be up for a drive to/meet at some POI, have a beer and a chat, and make some new friends. Been hibernating in Lithuania for six years so am happy to be home to Surrey, The UK's pothole paradise.

Oh gawd James_VW, I should have thought of VW discontinuing all the panels and other original components. Am going to have to be extra careful, not crash and make sure no-one crashes into me! lupo1.0se I guess there are meets in the Club social calender right, but maybe they're long distance. My idea of a good meet would be at a pub somewhere anywhere south of London, say in Surrey, Sussex, Kent, or Hants. Nothing fancy, just a beer or lunch on a sunny Sunday in spring or summer.

Hi ClubLupo people. Always wanted something quirky, different, rare, old school and (hopefully) reliable and so have just taken an expensive punt on my first VW - a Lupo GTI. Besides a couple of repairable little dinks on the rear three-quarter crease lines the old girl looks in impeccable order for her age. Am guessing this is a modern classic. Hopefully my TLC will take her into her thirties without any drama! If there are any GTI owners in Surrey up for socialising it would be really good to meet up! How weird it was test driving the car over the peak district national park under a clear sky and a full moon! Take care of yourselves Paul
