I have to laugh when I see a person that drives a smart car criticise a Lupo Gti or even the 1.4....is a smart car even classed as a real car? they have those dodgy bicycle wheels at the front and look like my 3 year old neices Tomy 'my first car'.....(sorry, just my humble opinion)..... On the other hand I can understand that sometimes you just get a duff motor where nothing works properly and its a constant headache, Im sure you get this with most cars...... Anyway, that probably wasnt the best way to intoduce yourself to a lupo website....

got a pipercross which combined with a fairly direct cold air feed seems to improve performance slightly & sounds amazing.....not bad cos i think it was about £80 summin for both....considering a BMC tho....anyone know how much more I can expect from one of these on a 1.4 16v?

Ive got a pipercross ind. kit on the arosa, tried it without a cold feed and it makes the car feel much slower than standard on a hot day (fine when its cold and the engine hasnt run for long), now ive got a cold air feed from the front grille blowing straight into the filter it makes a huge difference.

seems pretty expensive in the south, I have a mate who had his focus done (front as well) for £170 and it looks a top job, the fella that did it stressed out about this tiny spec of summin that got trapped (I could hardy see it) and was saying to my mate to bring it back so he could `re-do` that window.... There is a realy good company local to me but they wont do front windows cos they supply the police with the testing equipment! Good point about not just being tempted by the cheapest tho. Ill remember not to be tempted now.

I need some help on head units, ICE isnt something I want to spend a lot on - Id prefer the money go on tuning & styling stuff but at the same time the standard h/u has gotta go..... Ive got some decent 6x9's I want to use so Ill be buying a stealth shelf and considering an Alpine `CDA-9812RR` cos it seems well specced for £250 & a quality make.......doesnt look all that flash though so anyone got any other suggestions? I even thought about just getting an Alpine `CDE-9822RB` cos theyre only £135 and Id have a bit more £££ for other stuff...... I need some good advice from people who know their stuff!

hi everyone, Im gonna the windows done soon but thought I best check wiv u all whats a fair price to pay on an arosa / lupo? Obviously I want a professional job, not some bodge up effort so is there anything I should be asking when Im phoning for quotes?
