  1. Anything in particular?
  2. Not had this Lupo long. About a week. Shortly after we got it check engine light comes on, and seems to flash sometimes when idling for a minute. checked codes and I'm getting 16684 and 16687. (Misfire on 3, and ‘random cylinder misfire’). I’d look at plugs, leads and coil pack but I can see previous owner has had them all changed at end of June… im guessing they were changed due to a similar code or light. looking for a bit of advice as where to look at first. cheers.
  3. Thats what im hoping! Annoyingly spoke to VW earlier, they dont sell the pins anymore. Have inquired with vw classic parts
  4. Do you think the bottom nut has to be welded? If I got a replacement pin would a nut on the bottom be enough to hold?
  5. Hi guys, The 2002 Lupo I bought a few days ago has clunky doors. (especiialy on DS) Figured it was probably the check straps, although I've gone to tighten the bolt and it just spins around, neither able to tighten or remove. on the passenger side, it spins with what looks like a square nut at the bottom, although I don't think it's a nut as it's painted. Perhaps it has snapped off on that side? Anyways, anyone know what I'm doing wrong/how to remove these? Cheers
