  1. Not sure about this one, as the alarm seems to be working fine no issues. It's just the warning sound (when the headlights are on and door is open) that is playing up? Does anyone have any electrical drawings or advice on how I can get to the bottom of this problem. I do know my way around electrics and cars normaly.
  2. Sorry yeah, the dome light still seems to work, but the audiable sound has completely stopped now?
  3. Hi, my GF's lupo, has got an intermittent problem with the headlight "warning buzzer" ie. audiable sound when drivers door is opened and lights still on. At the moment, there is no warning sound, and she has left her lights on numerous times! I can't seem to find the usual door plunger to check the earth connection, so anyone got ideas / experience with this problem?
  4. Thanks for the all the advice. Went for the Snot Green 1.4s in the end. The missus loves it! Cheers again.
  5. Hi everyone, Well finally found some time to take out a test drive, and I was pleasantly suprised at how 'punchy' the car felt. Main question now is, the car we like best is a 1999 T plate 1.4s with ~44k on the clock genuine 1 lady owner with full VW service history and the car is very tidy. Only thing is the place are looking for £3k which I think is a little steep, what do you peeps think?
  6. Cheers everyone for your advice I will start looking this weekend and try and take a few on a test drive.
  7. Hi everyone, I am looking at buying a Lupo in the near future for my girlfriend, but just wanted to get your thoughts on what to look out for and any suggestions as to models etc? GF details are she is 22 and this will be here first car in her her own name for insurance (though she is driving a metro under my name at the moment) Ideally want to spend <3k so I assume something around 2001? Any advice would be much appreciated. Cheers Dave.
