1.0 MPI AUC, 180k km.
The bearing that holds the generator's belt tension, got blocked, cutting small pieces of the belt, which hit the timing belt, and engine stopped.
Head needs a rebuilt for sure, probably one piston has some damages...
So now I have few options:
1. Rebuild , at least 1000euro if only the head is broken.
2. Swap another 1.0, can be found at 200-300 euros.
3. Swap to an 1.4 AUC, which one will be more plug & play?
don't want a GTI or other fancy options... if the cost exceeds 1k euro
it may be the 60 hp one if it requires additionally only the ECU for example.
