  1. Hi, This LUPO has now been sold. Best Regards, Craig
  2. Yes as far as I'm aware, that's the most significant and obvious damage. There are also the odd spots of rust here and there. Regarding MOT, I imagine it would be prudent to do some minimal checking over before driving it to a test centre. e.g. servicing the brakes. It looks like it could do with some wind in the tyres too, but that's easy to arrange. It has been parked for a long time I don't think my dad can be bothered to get it MOTed so it's going to be a trailer/A-frame job. If you live nearby, we do have an A-frame that could be borrowed. Unfortunately none of our cars have a tow-bar, else we'd have been able to deliver it. -- Craig
  3. Make: VW Model: Lupo MOT: Expired TAX: SORN Engine size: 1.4L Fuel type: Petrol Description including modifications: No known modifications. This Lupo was bought by my dad in 2019 as a spare because his own car (a peugeot) was giving him some trouble. He did a full service on the Lupo, including changing the gearbox oil (which turned into this fiasco: https://uk-polos.net/viewtopic.php?t=73364) Since 2019, this Lupo has been parked on the front of his house, with boot being used to store bags of coal. 🤣 Despite not being driven since 2019, and us just having endured full week of sub-zero temperatures, I was astonished that the Lupo still started at the first turn of the key. The battery has been left disconnected as a precaution. In typical British style, just as I went to take some photos today, the heavens opened and we get the first liquid rain in over a week. MOT has now long expired, but it still drives ok. It has stood for a long time, so would strongly advise giving it a thorough check-over. As can be seen from the photos, most of the body panels have some form of knock or scuff. Interior is ok, but could do with a bit of a clean and polish. The scrap value of the vehicle is about 350 quid. My dad originally wanted a lot more than this, but realistically the lack of MOT, general condition and fact that it's been standing for such a long time devalues it somewhat. I'm sure he would be happy to let it go for 500 quid. We would rather have this go to a Lupo lover than be sold for scrap, hence posting here. If you're interested, please get in touch, and i'll forward you his number. Location: Winshill, Burton-On-Trent, Staffordshire DE15 Images: Price: £500
