Just been trying to get tickets since 9am and still unsure whether I've been successful
Got all the way through to the payment stage etc and then next page is unavailable.......however everytime I try and process the order again it says my registration numbers have already been used so I assume I've got them but will have to wait for the confirmation email
Anyone else been getting bored trying to get them? lol

Think I prefer the darker wheels, looks meaner!

Ok so ive been thinking of doing a silicone full hose kit for the Lupo GTi as i work with silicone hose at work, im currently doing a Polo 16v kit on ClubPolo and got a number of orders and its currently being tooled and made up, can i get some names down of ppl interested? if i get enough ppl interested il make it up. the 16v kit ive priced at £65 and consists of 6 hoses and an option of a BMC elbow for an extra £10 so alkl depending on how many hose il need for the Lupo it should be priced around the same
Thanks
Ste
I'd potentially be interested, will see what it looks like on EaRNi!'s car first tho

Car's pefectly fine today, must have just been the cold weather after all
-
hmm... £100-160....
but however i don't know the prices of vw parts....
thats just a guess of what they usually range from....
Balls!! Hope its not that then!

Sorry its a GTI, will see if its still happening later on now that the car has been parked up for a good few hours. Its in the garage this weekend getting the coilovers fitted so could get it checked out thenCheersYou dont say what engine is in it? Although usually they idle below 1K yes. Sounds like your throttle boddy needs cleaning.
Any ideas whats sort of price I'd be looking at if it was?Idle control valve? ( stuttering and cut out when you drop the revs? )I hope not, there a bit pricey... -
Yeh thats what was happening...........is it usual for idle to be below 1k?does it cut out at idle?
Wonder if it just needs cleaning then.....its due a service so will have it checked out then if it doesnt pack in in the meantimecould be the throttle body giving up the ghost -
When starting the car this morning things started as normal but then the revs started going up and down on their own. Thought it was probably something to do with the cold and so attempted to drive off as normal, but the car kept stalling.
After a couple of attempts at setting off and it subsequently stalling I managed to get going but everytime I stopped at traffic lights or whatever the revs dropped below 1k and I had to blip the throttle to stop it from stalling. Seems to be ok after a bit of a drive.
Anyone else experience this at all? Any reason to think its anything serious??
Could just be my car having a hissy fit as its gone past the 100,000 mark today!!

I thought sports cats were loads more expensive than that
Same here I thought it would be at least 4 times that amount.
You'll have to let us know if you feel any improvement with the new cat once its on, as it may be a worthwhile upgrade rather than going down the decat route!
-
so i can get away with sticking a 200 cell on the gti then?
Would have thought so as thats what a high flow sports cat is from what I remember.
How much is the new cat costing ya?

Cheers for all the info guys, been a great help!

5x100 to 4x100 are the more common adaptors out of the above!
go for that fitment mate
Yeh I thought that, what about the offsets and thickness of adapters needed? Any ideas? Also forgotto say they were 16" wheels too
-
There's an option of acquiring some wheels and there are a few different available fitments as follows..........
5 x 100, 6.5J with an offset of ET42; the 5 x 112 has a few variants... 6.5J with ET50 or 6.5J or 7J with an offset of ET46
Now my question is, which of these would fit best on a GTI....with adapters of course, and what size adapters would be needed??
Cheers!
-
Sorry to butt in guys, but am I right in thinking they are 4x100 pcd to 5x112 pcd adaptors?
Questions -
How much / where from?
Does the funny looking stud screw in then the adaptor fits over that and gets bolted on with the other three bolts?
Cheers !
edit: is the pic of them fitted to a Mk1 golf by any chance? I recognise the arch!
Im also interested in this too as ive been looking at some wheels but they're 5x112 and couldnt find anywhere for adapters

Cambridge rears as previously mentioned, electric window switches, rear spoiler brakelight, aero wipers.............so a general discount would probably be better!
Wicked idea........nice one!
