Was driving past and spotted you coming out of MacDonald’s Was slammed on cream euro rims with stretched rubber, didn’t see much else as drove past but from what I could tell it looked pretty spot on!

I’m not usually a fan of red, but I have to say yours looks spot on! lol yeah it’s usually got a dark cloud over it, but when the sun does come out it makes it better. I think the GTI would do a fair time around there; the problem is it would be competing in the 1400-2000cc group so always going to have bigger engines against you, but with it being smaller than most it could be a good weapon of choice

Most of the time just watch what’s sprinting, the Shenstone club is one of the best that goes there, things from the new Nissan GTR - brand new M5, to smaller things like Cateham, radicals etc... It’s a good mix of cars going round most of the time so not a bad afternoon out if the weather is ok. Also been there with the other half when him and a few of his mates have hired the course out for the day, all good fun too, haven’t took my car round as yet as I’m still working on improving it, but a good little introduction to track with little risk.

Red Lupo GTI- V DUB number plate – Curborough I see it most Sundays when going to the sprint course. Looks very clean!

Me? Nope, not currently in a loop at the moment, driving a 106 Rallye, but looking to get a sport in the near future if money allows

I saw this today too, parked in the Wylde Green Pub car park, looked spot on!

Did see much of it other then it had the back window covered in black plastic so I assumed it had been broken or smashed

3 lupo at Wylde Green/Spar car park 14/02 6:30pm ish 1) blue, with after market alloys, lowered and a few other mods, looked spot on! 2) black sport, see it there often, i asume works local 3) yellow sport was shocked to see them all in there, but all where park sepratly

I didn’t think it had but not to sure; it had a bonnet bra on it and pressed German style plates

Noticed the club sticker in the window, car looks very nice! I have seen you around quite a lot, I think the first time I saw it, it was near enough standard and now closer to the euro look

It did seem to be in mint condition inside and out, only 26k(ish) on the clock and it was a 6 speed as well. The credit crunch must be having an affect with some of the other cars that were there too, a few civic type R, Porsche Boxster, mustang, and brand new Golf GTI just to name a few!

Went down to the BCA today just for a look around and see what my small amount of cash could get me, was wondering around an spotted a GTI in the corner, you could guarantee if I went back everyday in the next year I wouldn’t ever see another one there! Sadly had to leave before it went through, but gauging on the prices that the other cars where going for the buyer probably got a bargain! Oh well...

Yeah I’ve heard this before when looking around for info, im very tempted to go for the 1.0 for a year, save some money up and then move up the scale for the GTI, which is what I’ve always wanted

Sorry to highjack the thread a little, but I have been wondering the same thing, I want to get a Lupo, and ideally the 1.4 16v sport, but as I will have no no-claims and it will be my first year driving I was wondering if it was a good idea. Is there anything I should look out for with either model? And generally I was just looking for your opinions on both models and which one might be the better choice.

Yeah must be, they both looked very nice indeed! I live in Wylde Green so its only down the road from me, don’t tend to see many lupo's around I don’t think so when I see a GTI they especially catch my eye Im hoping to get the 1.4 16v sport in the summer when I have some funds! Yep that’s the one! Have to say it looks amazing, all the better for being slammed!

I also see 2 GTI's parked on a driveway in the same area, one red and one black I think, possibly the same one? They always turn my head every time I go past! They both look very nice and tidy! (Not jealous at all )

As above, it looked very clean and from what I could see it was lowered? It was around a week ago now, was just wondering is it’s anyone from here?
