Tested the pins from where to where?
on the pump where u connect the plug. The 2 outer pins.
i saw it on youtube that u shoud have 1-3 resistance but my multimeter doesnt do anthing

If your fuses are ok and you're getting 12volts to the pump then it sounds like your pump is rogered.
i tested the resistance on the 2 outer pins from the pump & my meter does nothing.
so pump should be broken
ordering one tommorrow!
thnx!

Is there any fuel coming up the line to the filter?
i removed the fuel filter & there was no fuel comming from the pump to the filter

I'm not sure, I would've thought it should get 12v the whole time when it's operating, like when it kicks in the prime the system when you open your door. Have you tried taking the fuel filter line to the engine off and seen if fuel is pushed through the filter when the car is cranking?
i just tested that & there is no fuel comming trough.

Well if it's supposed to be getting 12v and it's only getting 3v I'd start looking at that instead of the pump.
it gets 12v when i crank the car & 3v with contact on. is it supposed to get 12v then?

I'm going to say 12v in a circuit.
so is my pump broken ?
i really dont know what else i can do now.

the other's are for the senders.
does the pump work?
can you hear it?
i cant hear the pump
is it normal the brown wire doesnt get voltage?

flip passenger seat, undo three screws on a cool looking black panel.
turn the ignition on and listen for a noise.
if you hear nothing take the plug off, check the brown and red plugs have 12v.
**** the top of the pump if necessary.
I have checked it & the red wire gets 12V when i crank the engine.
the brown wire gets nothing.
i tested the other 2 wires & the purple one gets voltage too

can you hear the fuel pump when you lift the rear seat up?
is it getting 12v at the plug
im gonna check that now !
how can i test the plug the right way ?
thnx

if you chuck 12v at the fuse you will know.
i checked the fuel pump fuse voltage & it only gets 3 volts.
EDIT !!!
When i crank the car the fuse gets 12V.
so the fuel pump relays clicks when i turn on the ignition
where can the problem be?
thnx!

can you hear the fuel pump kick in when you turn on the ignition?, if not check the fuses
Checked all my fuses today & they are all okay.
dont really know what sound a fuel pump should make.
ive read today the fuel pump or fuel relay dont give a vagcom code so this can maybe be the problem.

check all the earth connections from battery to chassis, and other earth connections you can find, simply find them all clean them up and stick them back on, a bad earth is just as bad as a bad live connection
if it its cranking its unlikely to be the starter motor, unless its quite obviously cranking slow, check for spark then check for fuel
I now think its maybe a fuel problem because i keep starting over & over the spark plugs dont get wet.
also read something about a blown fuse but i think they give error codes on vagcom.

Hi!
My lupo didnt start 2 weeks ago so i used vagcom & i got fault code G28 Engine speed sensor.
I replaced the sensor & it still doesnt start. Error code is gone.
After that vagcom gave me error code:
18010 - Power Supply Terminal 30: Voltage too Low
P1602 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
This error code usually comes after disconnecting the battery.
but just to be sure i replaced the battery because it was still a old full calcium one.
So what i replaced from the ignition : ( new parts )
Battery , coil pack , spark plugs , engine speed sensor (Crankshaft sensor) (G28), all ignition cables
No more vagcom codes & car wont start, it just keeps cranking.
Only thing i can think of now is the starter motor, i dont know if they give error codes?
what u guys think?
thanks!

thanks guys i will look at it tommorrow !

I dont know for sure but i think it only fits lupo's/polo's that has the buttons under the heater control.
or it replaces that & you will have to put the buttons under the heater controls. ( im not sure tough )
