  1. I'll definitely have a look at the ignition switch. Is there a way to check it? Any advice on replacing it if needs be? Thanks again folks
  2. Nothing happens when I turn the key. I've tried jumping it, made no difference. I'll try connecting the starter directly as I haven't before. When it was running there was no sign of any issue, it's literally just not starting, no clicking or anything like that
  3. Hi My 1.4tdi Arosa was running fine Then it started to struggle when starting. I checked the battery and found it wasn't keeping charge, or not enough to start the car at least. I've swapped the battery, but still it won't start. I've replaced the 109 relay as I've read on here it can cause running/starting issues, again it's not solved it. At the moment all i get when I turn the key are the dash board lights, which then duly turn off. Theres no clicking or whining at all, it doesn't even sound as though it wants to engage at all. I've read through a few posts on here and other forums but now I'm stumped. Any suggestions or similar issues Cheers
  4. Ideally I'd like a leather interior. Looking through some pics on here it's obviously possible. At present my interior is a mismatch. What sort of seats work/fit and where can I get matching leather covered door cards/trim/dash etc. Do parts need replacing or have you folks covered them?
  5. That's the point I was getting at. Just looking for suggestions as to what can be done. Where to source replacement parts/upgrades
  6. Hi folks I've recently bought an Arosa TDI as my first car. It's had some tuning work done by a previous owner and I'm happy with the way it performs, for now at least. BUT, the interior really let's the engine down. I think the front seats are from a lupo gti bit they're very tatty. The rest of the interior is showing its age, door cards, carpets, dash, trim etc. Basically wondering if anyone had any tips or recommendations as to what to work on or look out for and also where to get parts to improve thinks Thanks!
