  1. Nah I've not had the head off, been hoping to avoid it cause I don't wanna mess anything up but I can't afford to be ripped off by a garage so I gues the next time the weathers fine that'll be the next step
  2. I'm new here so not 100% sure if I am doing this right but basically I bought a lupo 1.4 1999 a while back, I thought it had a blown headgasket due to it overheating and blowing up the radiator but I think its worse. I have solved the overheating and added some kseal to the cooling system and all is good BUT just realised that my oil smells of petrol, I added a little catch can thing in to see what was coming through the little breather hose and got a very strong petrol smelling yellow liquid, the car idles rough and there is no compression in cylinder 4. I went off on one because the cars costing me money and I've not even got it legally on the road yet. My dad suggested a dodgy piston ring so petrol is going straight down into the sump but after some research the symptoms would appear to be a stuck or bent valve, Has anyone had problems like this before or any idea if its possible to repair it without stripping everything down? Any help would be really appreciated, all I want is a lupo that works and its all going to hell :(((( Thanks a lot - Ryan
