Hey guys, I got to drive the car this morning! Dropped Laura off at work in wickford and came back to the Hanningfields where I live (Chelmsford), so got to give the car a bit of stick on some country'ish roads.....and my findings? What a great car!! I've had a 106xsi (1.4) and two 106 gti's and this is just as fun! Great punchy motor, which seems to have much better low down power than my old 106 gti (had to get above 4500 to really get it moving), I much prefer this sort of power delivery. The handling is great, softer than the 106 had, but still loads of fun (and better for Laura's confidence) I would go so far as to say it's more fun than my mini, sure its not as fast, but it feels like it because the car is so light. I find the handling on the mini almost intimidating because understeer appears at any given time when pushing it (probably down to the waste of money standard run-flat tyres style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":angry2:" border="0" alt="angry.gif" />) And I love the way the lupo looks, gets some great looks from people with approval. So overall I give the Lupo GTI five thumbs up! Now I need to go out and attempt to fix the bonnet release style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> well hey.......all great cars have their foibles style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
