No weight given on my V5 but the book unladen weight is definitely 1032.
Feb 2001 X reg GTi, with aircon.
-
My Dad's peugeot 307 has 20k service intervals.
The warranty on the loop states 10k or every year tho...
-
My 3 yr annual service (stamped as 30k although done at 27k) cost me £176.
If in doubt, give the warranty peeps a call - 08456 419767

Errr... that sounds a bit wrong I'm afraid!
I've got one of the early GTi's (X reg 5 speed) and mine weighs 1032kg...
-
I've been informed (by my Mum) that the 23rd is a definite no go for me too i'm afraid...
The following weekend isn't an option either as its my birthday on the Friday and I've got friends coming over for the weekend, sorry guys.
I've never been to Alton Towers either, so was looking forward to it...

Did you know they've taken the word Gullible out of the dictionary?!? Lol style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Before the forum died & was reborn, there was talk of an outing to Alton Towers...
When was it planned for (I know it was around the end on May)? Is it going ahead?

What?!? I do! I even gave mine a cuddle on Sunday! (No seriously, I really did...)
-
Hey, I'm a friend to all loops, I love them all!
-
Calm Tigz, breathe in... breathe out... breathe in... breathe out...
I'm just pointing out that the [i:post_uid0]majority[/i:post_uid0] of the smaller engined models are owned by "normal" people, not enthusiasts and therefore are not likely to register on here, making the more "specialist" (for want of a better word) models the most common on here!
I'm not saying anyone is more or less of an enthusiast than anyone else, or that the car you drive has any impact on your level of enthusiasm!
-
Not at all!!! I'm just saying that the majority of the loops out there wil be the smaller engined models, completely standard, owned by "normal" people, not dub nuts like us!
-
The more basic models are more likely to be owned by non enthusiasts, thus the GTi should surely be the most popular amongst club members, but not on the road?!?
I've got a GTi, her name is Lucy (my Mum named her...) and she was 3 in February. Does that make me Old Skool coz i've got an early `5-speed` GTi?!?
Inters convoy!!

Not got my club stand pass yet... Could be waiting for me when I get home from work tho - fingers crossed! (Ooh, something to look forward to!)
@YLC: You can't pick where you get to camp unfortunately, you set up where they tell you to! Last year it seemed to be that the people camping both nights were in the big field straight ahead & to the left and people camping Sat only in the little field on the right.
@EssexLoop: "Haven't you sorted it out yet"... fine one to talk Mister! (Your high level brake light has not worked since I've known you!)
Mine's booked in with VW for the 11th May... didn't wanna risk being without it for Inters!
