  1. Why the polo gti?? And are all mounts ect the same??
  2. Anyone also know much about Passat 6box?? My mate mentioned something bout it adding 20bhp when fitted to the 1.4 sport with an intake system and exhaust??? If so what's a 6box haha
  3. Anyone know what mounts are needed for the 20vT conversion and anyone that can sort the loom and decode ecu??
  4. I like essays haha and hearing other peoples points of view. ITBs do sound amazing. Yea the Jenvy ones are the dogs. My mate has a mk2 golf GTI with an ABF on Jenvys, think that runs about 180wp on his road map. it is looking like a 20vT though as you say with more power and reliability and of the shelf parts.
  5. Thanks guys!!! It may be a case of a 1.8T then. I just thought that conversion was a bit too common that's all. They are a pretty solid block. As for AC in im sure can work something out.
  6. Hi guys, I'M looking into buying a 1.4 16v sport 100bhp as the insurance is dirt cheap and are like 2k cheaper than the GTI. Iv own a yellow 1.4 16v 75bhp model a few years back til i wrote it of leaving vw northwest at Tatton park . I am buy trade a VW tech and love building engines so my idea was to basically do a GTI conversion but with a kick.... Question 1. Can anyone point me in the direction of this sort of conversion thread?? IM hoping its a case of just swapping the engine, box and engine loom and it plugging straight to the 1.4 fuse box?? Still using the 1.4 internal wirings and swap over the ecu. Or is there any other engine rather than the Lupo GTI lump that people would use?? IM not a fane of the 20vT conversion as been done too many times and obviously nothing too modern due to costing's. Question 2. Does any of the lupo models come with AC?? If not has any one ever fitted AC to their lupo. What matrix ect did you use. Thanks guys and girls all help much appreciated.
