hey guys my lupo is starting to give me headache when I start it in Morning it idles very very low and struggles .some times it won't run at all but if you give it a tiny bit of Revs for about 15 seconds it's fine ! I've replaced the Green 4 pin temp sensor about 3 days ago as the temp gauge was hit an miss and I thoret the problem whould be linked but no luck It's a 99 1.4 16V 75Hp Thanks in advance !!!

Hey guys my lupo is making an odd loud humming noise from the engine bay it's only happened twice and both times the engine has been up to temp it happened once why driven and once why stood Idling when I did it the first time I panicked and turned it off and it still continuing making the noise when it was not running . I've checked the cooling fan and that's fine It's been fully serviced in the last few months Milage is getting high it's tickling 110k Also it's runs spot on apart from when I rev it when it's up to temp it pops a little bit like it's running rich which I don't get as it's fully stock ? any help is grate thank you I have no idea where to start

My friend owns an runs he's own garge so he plugs it in for me when I need him to I will swap out the temp sensor next week . I was under the impression that the fuel was measured of the lamba sensor not the temp sensor ? Obviously when cold its the temp sensor I did have a similar problem with my polo but that has 2 water temp sensor one for cold temp then other for the gauge and then when it's warm it runs of the lamba sensor that's why I ruled the dogey temp sensor Thanks for the help guys ill get a sensor orderd

No I drive it sensible . Only mods are coil overs and wheels Tires are all new and I checked theme a week ago It does smell like it's running rich on cold start but fine when warm temp gauge it's temprementle it works then stops working Thanks for the replies

Hey all just wondered what your guys lupo's are like on fuel ? I seem to be getting about 25mpg on my 1.0 e which I find bad ? I did fill it a few months ago and got about 200 mile out of it (some motorway driving) I don't drive it mad its fully serviced and had a new egr valve 6 months ago it is quite high Miles as well Any help will be great thanks

Hi everyone just saying hello been driving my Girlfriends 1.0e since may last year when I took my mk2 polo off road to do some work to it she's still learning to drive you see so it made sense Pritty standard to be fair I said I wouldn't do anything to it but couldn't resist it as they look so cool lol So I fitted My BBS 14s I think there RZs but I'm not 100% these were stolen off my Polo lol Fk Street coil overs And I got a drink holder out of a polo6n2 as being an E it didn't have one Then the Basics Full service including Timming belt and water pump also did a full gear box oil change since having it Like I said I'm always on clubpolo so It be silly not to come say hello here
