actually its a sensor on the main large air pipe feeding from airbox down to back of engine ?

my daughter just broke down again kept blowing number 3 fuse and AA guy found crank case breather sensor to be open circuit says it needs replacing anyone help please with part number or picture ? also would this be the possible cause for an air leak which makes the car not corralate the air/fuel mix properley

yes brake lights work baro sensor is the map sensor isnt it ? if so already changed it for a new one ?

Latest update. removed throttle body and cleaned really well and egr pipe etc. renewed gasket and bolted down tight. did a leak test on all hoses and couldnt seen any bubbles replaced map sensor still no difference. car still hunts around 2000 rpm epc light still comes on again after i clear. car will drive okay ish and will go upto 90 mph okay but always seems to just run rough especially noticable at lower speeds and rpms. took it into vag dealer they said. fault code 17961 bariometric sensor collaretion unintrepable or something like that and so he said look for air leaks but i cant find any not even on inlet manifold. WHAT DO I DO NEXT PLEASE PLEASE HELP????

Since Purchasing a 2001 1.4 16v lupo for my daughter it has been nothing but a constant pain!!! rough running slight juddering all the time and feels like in a form of limp mode always. either EPC or Engine Check lights always on or intermittment. work so far. new plugs new leads tried new coil pack made no difference cleaned airflow body with card spray took off and cleaned egr and soaked it but havent replaced it. new front lamda probe cleaned rear lamda probe new brake switch although car never overheats it always seems hot under the engine. its an AUA engine. checked ecu and looks a little discolured on outside however this could be from where its located ? i am lost for what to do next and nothing so far makes a dam difference. should i change throttle body ????? should i change ecu should i change egr ??? please please give any advice if you have experienced similar.

we recently purchased a lupo with a folding fabric roof and are still looking for the correct motor to fit . however in the meantime does anyone know a way to open this roof manually ? also does anyone know if the roof has drain tubes etc ?

we have lots of water coming in where motor is situated under light at front any ideas ?? is this common these roofs leakings ?

yes got the one for fabric roof has different connector than on loom in roof panel ? vw wont tell me the part number they say its their policy ?? thanks for help anyway

hi all i bought a motor for the sunroof as it was missing however the one i bought does not have the right connector on. in the roof i have a lead that has just two wires heavy duty however the motor i bought has a four pin connector. reg of car is WF51 AWA can anyone give me the correct part number please ?? or is there an adaptor cable ? cheers

i have now changed the following. plugs coil pack ht leads brake switch cleaned throttle body cleaned egr valve new lambda probe front end poured injector cleaner in fuel tank etc when driving engine light comes on and slight hunting. plug in code reader and get 16524 fault code 02 sensor is this the rear lambda probe ?? would this make the car act like this ?? i have no confidence in changing this as i keep changing parts and then end up with a different code each time ??? please help ??? do i need to change egr ??? or lamda probe??

My daughters Lupo 1.4 16 V 2001 Everything time EPC light comes on car drives like **** . It's like it's not firing on all cyclinders. As soon as it goes out its okay. Work so far. New Lambda probe front Squirted card cleaner down throttle body New Map sensor What do I do next surely these little cars can't be that poor ? I have checked for air leaks can't find any. What to do ?? Please help

Hi i need to order a new coil pack and seen NGk are over 100 pounds are the one's on ebay for around 25 pounds any good for my lupo 1.4 16v ? i have also seen a used one complete with leads for 20 pounds maybe thats worth a punt ?? any advice would be great .
