If a Lupo has colour coded wing mirrors that means it must be at least an S, right? And if it's an S, that means it has electric windows, yes?
Looking for a new door on eBay just in case

Door strap? You mean the check strap?
I can't push the door open by using any of the levers on the door lock/catch

Welcome

Hello
Post some pictures soon

From other sources I think this is the microswitch that detects the door open/closed status. Can anyone confirm?
-
Does anyone know exactly what the red and blue wires on the bottom of the door catch do? They run from the section connected to the central locking wiring to the actual catch part of the lock. Is it possible that manually powering these wires with say, 12v would do anything? If so, what?
-
Did you find the deadlock pin? I have no idea where this is but my drivers side door is shut and won't open at all.
-
I don't know if the pump has it's own fuse?
But you can check whether the pump has any power with a voltage meter when you are pressing down the button.

Do the central locking yay and nay models have different door latches or do they share the same part?
-
It's gone again. Door won't force open. All I have access to is the hole underneath the door cards. Manually pulling the trigger doesn't open it

I can't get the brass collar to clip into place, I can tell there is some extra bit of plastic that needs to clip but I can't see it. Very annoying. Might drill a huge hole in the door just so I can see
-
Nevermind, I eventually managed to lever the lock barrel out and somehow that helped release the door. Those stupid brass collars that hold the barrel in place I can never get them back in properly, so my whole lock system is a bit flimsy

My drivers door won't open at all. I've taken the door card off and I can't see anything wrong inside. The central locking sounds like it works okay, the other doors unlock and lock when I use the key.The outside handle pulls okay and the wire pulls the mechanism which pivots the lever bit okay. The internal door handle pulls okay and the wire pulls okay. It's just the plastic box thing all the other wires join into doesn't seem to do anything, there is no apparent movement and the door won't open at all.
Is there any secret way to force open the locking mechanism? Are there any other options at all?

Technically it means how much electricity it can use. But generally the higher the wattage the higher the possible volume. It doesn't tell you how good the quality of sound is.
270 is more than loud enough for me

Does anyone know what the mounting bracket on the car does when the door closes?
Does it push back into that hole that it's sticking out from, or does it stay where it is and push into the hole area on the door
-
Did you find a solution to this? My handles are now sticking out a bit and won't go back in flush
-
It sounds to me like you don't have remote central locking, just the normal central locking like me.
The key with a button on it is just a torch light. The flashing red light is standard kit and is really just a deterrent.

Could you take a photo? The small tab that locks them in place was always visible on mine, even when it was open.
-
Needs three hands to get it out doesn't it
Good luck repairing the lock, I just did mine, found some of the parts in the repair kit weren't quite the right size
-
How would you get in? The tailgate
-
I used one of those lock repair kits from eBay. The parts weren't very good quality, the sizes were a little bit off, but luckily the bits I needed worked okay. Very tricky to get it back together though.

Wow great photos. Thanks for sharing

Colour coded wing mirrors and electric mirrors
in Volkswagen Lupo

Was looking at door frames actually. I was told the manual and electric window door frames are different. The vast majority of the doors on ebay don't specify if they are manual or electric windows, but I can see the wing mirrors
