Before i start i realise the effort it must be to put this site on, ( personally i wouldn't know where to start ) But not keen on the new the new format, i much prefer the the last one, easier to use in my very humble opinion.

Like it! , it's different, and that's good.

Excellent thread, very interesting.

Yes it will do that now. Your egr valve had an ASV or anti shudder valve fitted. I think it would basically close the butterfly valve to give a smooth turn off. Perfectly normal. Another restriction removed too.
Ah,thanks for that Dblock, that's put my mind at rest, i thought i had done something wrong and created a problem.

That hand brake cover looks great, were did you get it ?

The EGR blank came with the Allard delete kit.
Yep i redlined it several times and held it there for about 20 seconds at a time.
The car does seem more responsive.
One thing i have noticed though is when i switch the engine off it stops with a bit of a clunk/shudder. Which it didn't do before.

Finally got round to doing the purge and delete yesterday, it was more fiddly than i thought, anyway did the purge 1st which went ok, following instructions on here, hardly any, if any smoke/shite came out of the exhaust. Then fitted the delete kit. Early indications are it does seem nippier, picks up quicker.

Hi, i have got the stuff together to do the above on my Lupo TDI.
An Allard delete kit and Ligui moly diesel purge and all the bits an pieces.
Going to use the guide from Skezza. What i want to know is ( no laughing now )
Do i purge then fit the EGR kit or vica versa. Think the answer is obvious, but just want to make sure.
Thanks,
Tony.

Hi Davy,
Might be a cached page - seems to work for me, can't see anything in the templates to redirect. Anyone else having an issue?

Morning, and welcome.

Are they not just the same as what you would put in your standard tyres? After all the cars weight's not changed. I'M running 185/35/17 tyres and use the same pressure as my standard 14" tyres
and they seem fine.

Some very nice cars you've had there, especially the Arbarth.

They look great by the way.
Correction 2nd to ask, i was just beaten to it.
