Do not buy that relay, i bought from that company. Its not a genuine VW part and im having major electrical problems because of it, im now going to have to buy a genuine relay. Look up LupoBoz on here, he works for VW and can get part with good discounts. To test the compressor connect a 12v battery to the connection, you will see the clutch engage if its ok. If it doesnt then its a new commpressor you need. But that relay is a known problem part.

The relay is located on the right hand side below the chassis leg, or if your looking up from under the car its just above the horn. There are a few different part numbers, but its written in big letters on the side of the relay. You can order it from VW but it is very expensive.

Well how about instead of expecting someone else to sort things out you through some ideas about. locations, dates, times etc. Then everybody can post there excuses why they cant make it.

Well I dont really expect to sell anything on here, but it wouldnt hurt to put a list of stuff in the for sale section.

Exactly, it takes too long to list stuff, the world is full of tossers, and ebay fees are a damn disgrace. Every item I will be selling will cost a minimum of £50 in fees, and thats a total rip off. Selling high end photography equipment on a bike forum.....Really?

Does anybody know of a good large photography forum with a high member count and lots of hits. Im wanting to sell all my camera gear, but really want to avoid ebay at all costs, so a forum I think will be the best option. Not being a forumy kind of person I dont which is the beast one. Any pointers thankyou please

this is your lucky day. I have the answer! the bracket is supposed to be attached to the bottom starter motor bolt. You know how the top bolt has an extra bolt sticking out with the main engine earth strap attached. Well the bottom bolt is exactly the same only the top hole in that bracket is attached to it. Nothing to do with the aircon though im affraid
