  1. Make: Seat Model: Arosa Mileage: 87500 MOT: Until the 22nd December 2011 TAX: Engine size: 1.4 Fuel type: Petrol Description including modifications: Non Location: Sandbach Cheshire Images: Will post if anyone shows interest Price: £300 ono I am selling my Arosa for £300 ono if it isnt sold by the end of the week its gonna be scrapped as I dont have room on the drive for it. The car isnt in that good of condition as the bodywork has some defects with the front grill and o/s wing mirror cover missing. Has been used for travel to work and football so interior could do with a good clean. Engine still runs strong although car does pull to the right. Someone may want to break it for parts but don't have the time as the missus wants it gone by the weekend. Cheers Ben

  4. I posted a while ago about a starting problem I have with my arosa basically it will turn over fine but wont fire up. I have taken into the garage but they couldnt find anything as it started first time every time so I decided to give it a go myself after getting stuck in the works car park for 45 minutes. I believe i have located the problem there is a grey electrical connector on top of the thottle when it is connected the car wont start but take the plug off and there is not a problem. Can someone tell me what this connection is and why it could be causing this problem also would it cause any damage just to leave it off?? in the pictures the conector is off cheers Ben
  5. Hi there I have had my arosa now for 2 months and for the last 2 - 3 weeks its been having trouble starting. The engine turns over fine but it can take numerous attempts to actually get it going and when it does sometimes it splutters to a stop again. Once I have the engine running there doesnt seem to be a problem it has never cut out on me and doesnt seem under powered. I searched for other posts with people having the same problem but didnt really find any answers im not that mechanically minded but I was thinking along the lines of maybe a fueling problem? I did run out of fuel a few weeks back could it be as simple as the filter being blocked slightly. When I bought the car i changed the plugs and the leads dropped the oil changed the oil filter and cleaned the throttle body, as i found in other posts after doing this the idle is slightly erratic but I havent had chance to reset the ecu or try and solve this but I dont think can be linked as the car was starting fine. my arosa is a 1999 T reg petrol 1.4 8v - engine code aex any help would be much appreciated Ben oh and i appologise if its a long read im tired and am just typing it as i think of things to put! cheers
  6. First of all i would like to say hi to everyone as this is my first post. Today i bought a T reg 1999 Arosa can anyone point me in the right direction for some lowing springs. I have found these http://awesome-gti.co.uk/weitec/spring_r.html but i was hoping to go a fair bit lower. Im not looking for anything fancy as i will only be using the car as a means to get to work and back but i thought i could also have a bit of fun it. any suggestions would be appreciated Thanks Ben
