  1. I cleaned it with carb cleaner but it still looked rough. I think you may be right. Its 5 wires and a 6 pin plug, Im going to my local parts store to check it tomorrow. Thanks!
  2. Hi there, Today my car failed its MOT on emissions, I believe its the Pre cat lambda sensor and so does the mechanic, I removed it with the intention of replacing it today however I can only seem to find 4 pin/4 wire and the one I have removed is 6 pin but I cant find one anywhere!? I have searched around and cant find one... My car is a 2002 seat arosa 1.0, If anyone knows where I can buy one I would very grateful! Cheers
  3. Yeah just needed a new horn! simple to replace and I got one from my local breakers yard for £2!
  4. Hi all, Went to use my horn yesterday as some twerk cut me up, I hit the wheel and the horn sounded for around a second - if that before cutting off and now it doesn't work. I can't seem to find any threads on it. I have checked the fuse and it was fine but replaced it anyway. Still no luck. Can someone tell me where the actual horn is? I want to test it to see if the horn has failed. I had a look in the bay quickly last night but I can't see it! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks for your help

  6. Hi all, I need to remove some spray tint on my rear lights but I want to remove the whole unit off the car so not to damage any paintwork. I believe its quite simple just don't really know how can someone tell me how to remove the rear lights? Thanks
  7. I done some of my own alloys and used E-Tech alloy spray paint off ebay, it takes 2 tins to do 4 wheels and its really good stuff, they do a few different colours. Its different to normal spray paint, much tougher and even doesn't look rattle canned like cheap spray! take a look on ebay its about £6.00 a tin but is well worth it!
  8. Hi, Got a nasty dent on my door and its getting more and more annoying! Was wondering how to get off all the inside door card. The dent is right up next to the handle so the top door card bit Any help appreciated! Thanks
  9. No it isn't like that davie18, its more like a helicopter or airplane overhead but not as loud like a plasticy clattering when engine breaking at all speeds and when I engage clutch it goes. Thanks though
  10. Tried videoing it but its too quiet in the video! and I have to be driving for it to make the sound :/
  11. Hi everyone, So when I stop accelerating there is this kind of rattly sound, almost sounds like a plane is flying over head... its not that loud but its most times a slow down. If i put my foot on the clutch it goes away and it also goes if I accelerate. Anyone know anything?
  12. There is thread on here about how to clean the EGR valve, sometimes they get clogged up with smut and a good wash through with carb cleaner can sort it out. Just take of the EGR valve and fill it with carb cleaner, close up the ends and give it a good shake and let it rest for 10 minutes then shake it again and pour all the remaining liquid away. It makes the car run nasty for about a minute as it burns off all the impurities but after that it will go back to normal. Sometimes it works sometimes not! but by far the cheapest way!
  13. Was that exact one I used! the glue just shatters before it pulls the dent
  14. Thats possibly the most beautiful response aha
  15. SO YEAH THANKS FOR YOUR HELP EVERYONE aha, just turned into a testosterone fuelled rant thread.
  16. Ahahahaha, Thats the mood I was in when I was in the dentist! waiting for root canal your never a happy bunny...
  17. Yeah, I did it off my phone waiting to go into the dentist... on hindsight it did come across a little too aggressive! Sorry aha
  18. Get protective over our little cars!
  19. Dents ruin cars thats why...
  20. Hi all, I have got a little dink on my passenger side front wing. I would love to knock it out but I cant get to it through any of the small holes. Would drilling a smallish hole from inside the engine bay just big enough for a tool to get to it be a bad idea? I have tired a dent pulling device but it didn't seem to work, I will have another go now its warmed up a bit but its a real eye sore! Any help, cheers
  21. Yeah if you take off the gearstick and guard you will see some rods and also the exposed ones in the bay is where I did
  22. I had the same problem and it was that the some of the linkage was bent slightly but I kept greasing it every week and it got better and better. rather than using wd40 I used duckhams grease and lathered it on!
  23. I got spigot rings on ebay, like it says above. measure the centre bore of your alloy (or look them up online) then go on to ebay and type in your centre bore number e.g 70mm to 57.1 spigot. Then they come up, usually around 5 quid!

The black Seat badge in the middle, Thanks
  25. Hi everyone, Got my hands on some standard 14" Seat Arosa Alloys. Gonna refurbish them myself and I would like to change the sticker on the centre cap to a coloured one. I measured the Seat 3D logo sticker in the middle and it came back as 91mm!? Is that correct? I have only seen 60mm Seat ones. Have I measured it wrong? Any one knows what it should be I would be grateful! Thanks!
