Hi all, Last night I came out the cinema and my windows on both sides were down ? I didn't think much of it thought I might have left them down... In work today it was hammering down and I thought I'd check and again they were down?!! Can anyone tell me why this is happening? And is there a way I can stop it for the time being until weekend? Thanks

I managed to move the fan and unplug and it slotted in nicely only problem now is when I do the nuts up the are tight befor reaching the head? Think the bolt is to far out ? How do I get the stud out the head and thread it all the way in?? Thanks

If its not catching on the fan it's catching on the alternator does the fan come out easily anyone no??

Thanks for reply... I have plenty of space for the sensor but I just cannot get the manifold up through the front? My radiator is not straight but its tight in place, is it right that's it's slighting facing in on passenger side? Took my oil filter off but still the starter motor is in the way then? Lol would it be easyer to just unbolt bumper etc and do it head on? Thanks

Hi all, Has anyone fitted a Ashley manifold from a 1.4 16v sport to a lupo gti? If so I tried tonight and I just couldn't get it passed the fan? Is this normal? I took off the oil filter but still no luck Any help would be great!! Thanks

Ok thanks a lot for all the replies, what about the radiator? Is that ment to sit flush with the bumper mine is slightly angled the gearbox side?

Hi, When my girl friend is driving her car lately the exhaust emissions( orange tap) either flashes when she's driving or it just stays on, the code is saying cylinder 2 miss fire detected but the car drives ok. That's the code I'm getting P0302 If anyone can help would be great :-)

Hi all, Just opened my bonnet as about to start taking timing belt off and I noticed when I look head on from a distance the engine is very slightly leaning down on the gear box side?? Is this normal? Drives fine no nocks etc just looks abit odd?? Thanks

What would be a rough price? Well it doesn't really I mean just front due to stone chips few marks around the car and as its my job I would do it becuase I can but I just wanted a rough price what it would be worth. It's such a fun car best car so far lol

It's a 51 plate lupo gti in silver with - 66k Fsh from vw Tax and mot Timing belt and water pump have been done Interior is mint, it's like new! Tyres are new Everything works and the car runs great but the reason I'm asking is because I'm a painter so was thinking of giving it a full respray inside And out? what would it be worth because I want to see weather it's worth me doing or not? Plus I don't no what it's worth anyways? Some people aren't bothered about a cat d (which I'm not) plus they are becoming rare! Thanks

It doesn't have a sun roof the interior is good condition with no rips, standered car. Has no damage or dents, body is good condition no air con I don't think

Hi all, I'm currently looking at a lupo gti it's on a 2002 plate with 85k on it, full service history and timing belt recently been done at vw. Mot til September 2013 and tax for 4 months. It's really clean condition, the only faults it's got is the micro switch has gone? Door locks its self and Mirror is cracked on passenger side but the sun visor one. The starter also makes a funny noise when started? Just wondering roughly what's its worth? No price said yet as i will be off a family friend. thanks
