Its the very same Choppa from Newcastle Chris I went for Satin on the golf I had with yellow lights, I'm not cool enough to get away with driving a yellow L00p and people thinking I'm straight That only took a weekend and 6 cans like

I've kind of tried that I'm not sure yellow is my colour, but I could get away with matt black with a yellow roof and some hazard tape

  6. Great stuff, cheers folks!! Hopefully thats me done until another problem raises its head
  7. Hi chaps Just after a bit of reassurance on the right way to approach this problem... my missus's Lupo' (X reg 1.0E) engine light came on on Friday, (she said the battery light - bloody women!!) I went to get ni last night and it turns out its the mangement light. I stuck a fault reader on and it came back with 2 faults, 1st saying random misfire on any cylinder, 2nd saying the cylinder was #1 From having a bit of a search about, I'm going with plugs, HT leads and then coil pack as the initial and cheapest options. I'm hoping the rain we've had as gotten things a bit wet and new items will sort it. IF none of the above 3 sort the problem, what else should I be checking? Thanks
  8. Again, thanks very much for the help fellas, nice to have friendly helpful people around! Last question on this (I hope). I've had a look on ECP, could someone confirm that these are the correct part no's for an x-reg 1.0E Lupo. I think they are but I've got no idea what AUC: 37KW Means style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" /> 625442880 625442885 Thanks very much!
  9. newcastle upon tyne mate, place called hazlerigg. next to the airport if its a simple job I should be ok, but if it was an all day job or a case of removing all sorts of wierd shizzle I'd probably take it somewhere.
  10. Ok cheers fellas. Is it a straight forward job to swap one over? Any specialist toold required does anyone know? Sorry for all the questions! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="confused.gif" />
  11. I was following my girlfriend home the other day (we happened to both be driving from the same place, I dont stalk her or anything). I noticed the n/s rear wheel was bouncing quite eratically when she went over a bump in the road or turned a corner. Her last service advised of the damper not damping properly, could this be the cause of the wheel bouncing? How difficult is it to change and where would be the best place to source a replacement? The car is a Lupo E which has done about 58k miles if thats of any use. Thanks for any help!
  12. Is the noise consistant with engine speed or road speed?
  13. I've been scanning eBay and come across this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-VOLKSWAGEN-POLO-D...1QQcmdZViewItem I know it says for a polo, but there is a lupo one too which seems to be the same, does anyone know if this will do the same as the dealer bits but for a lot cheaper
  14. Hi Sorry to hijack the thread, I've got the same problem about the lock spinning in the barrell and it not locking or unlocking the doors, I've been onto VW and they've quoted £51 +Vat for a new lock and they reckon about £17+Vat to suite it to the other locks on the car. Is this about the right price, seems kind of high or is there a more "cost effective" alternative?
