I have had my car looked at by a vw specialist garage. they have diagnosed it as an ecu fault after checking all the electrics. will hopefully be getting a new ecu soon
-
Ok thanks will give it a go tomorrow
-
Ok thanks how will I go about doing that? Will I have to put it on voltage stick probe in the obd pins and other probe to an earth?
-
i have checked most of them dont know which ones to check really. i have checked the obd port which is fine as it does connect to abs etc. any ideas on what other fuses i can check? thanks

I'm probably completely wrong but my golf used to do it sometimes and it was because when I pulled the key out the two connect in the barrel kept getting stuck and didn't come together Sorry meant to say 2 contacts in the barrel -
Hi i have a lupo 1.4s aua. i can't connect to ecu and was wondering if anyone has the wiring diagram for the ecu, or if anyone knows which colour wire/wires will go from the ecu to the obd port. Thank you

There isn't really a lot just the 4 bolts that hold the throttle body on and the connector to it. Going to try throttle body alignment on it tomorrow. -
