Looking good m8. She's coming along well, would be good to meet up when we have got both on the road and see the differences. -

There is no rocker cover gasket, you just use sealant when putting a rocker cover on the head -
Ive already modified a throttle bodie to use a cable, just got to find room on the pedal box now for the cable pedal, there is no room under there at all, attempted to get my dash out but god knows how you do that, just don't wan't to come out lol. I have put a pulley in for a ribbed belt The conversion has cost me around £4000 i think inlcuding the bits i still got to get.
-
No. ive got a bracket holding it from underneath aswel.
-
Yeah got a pedal now cheers, have'nt tried fitting it yet as have put standard throttle bodie back on as got to drive her to longlife to get the manifold put on and bent and exaust made and hope she makes it back with a decat without going mental lol. Then will fit all the bits back on and get her trailered up to storm.

Cheers for the good comments. Im running 2.0 8v golf throttle bodie as have to use a cable not drive by, had a bit of messing around with it to get it to fit properly. Waiting for my pipe work and green silicone hoses to turn up now, still got to sort out an cable accelerator and exhaust, then she will be on her way down to storm to get the emerald k3 fitted. I used a double sided rib belt which saved me alot of hastle with putting more pulleys in, i on added 1 extra pulley to route the belt to the charger.

Slowly getting there

ALEX That sign come up when i 1st got the car, i had just fitted the induction kit and went threw a puddle that was a bit deeper than i expected, since then the sign used to come every so often never affected the car in the way she drove, would'nt worry about it m8. Will just be a stupid sensor somewhere.

you don't need to change the gearbox. Im supercharging my loop at the moment. Not as easy as it all sounds either, alot of time and messing around needed.
-
Could someone please pm me there registration of there loop which uses a cable accelerator pedal. Volkswagen can't find the pedal unless i have a registration but mine uses a drive by wire not a cable. Much appreciate it if someone can help. Cheers
-
Wicked result m8, i did notice a difference in the loop when i put the manifold on. So much restriction in a standard manifold.
-
They are easy to fit m8, just follow the guidlines that JOWEY has put up and you won't have any problems.
-
Cheers for the good comments peeps

Mines been machined by some laser cutting machine thing. Should have it 2moz or early next week
-
Cheers m8. Yeah gone for the full 1.5, was thinking about putting a couple of washers in aswel to get a bit more neg camber.
-
