  1. We're not all crap - Head office keeps cutting payroll spend impress the investors, which forces stores to have less and less full time, trained up employees and rely on part timers covering a lot of hours here and there. Part timers being part timers, they generally don't really take much pride in the job so they give the company its (well deserved) bad image. Even full time "specialists" in cycles or parts are paid £6.odd an hour, so anybody any good with half a brain won't stay for long. It's a good job I'm skint and my boss is flexible with my hours, because I'd be long gone otherwise!
  2. At work (Halfords ) we had a trailer tyre in stock that hadn't been seated right - My boss was flapping about it because the customer was coming for collect the trailer in half an hour. I said I'd sort it, and got a can of ether (Starting fluid) and a lighter. 2 minutes later the tyre was seated, My arm hairs slightly singed, a small patch of the warehouse floor was on fire and my boss was impressed with my inventiveness.
  3. Not got any specific plans, I'm sort of thinking about changing the wheels for something smaller and wider, and theres a few bits need sorting (Remote locking and Electric windows)
  4. Just arrived home from picking my new lupo up - I've been after one for ages but nothing really came up, this one caught my eye though (It's hard for it not to!) Apologies for the terrible picture! I'm sure I'll be asking plenty of questions when bits drop off (I'm used to french cars, so expect the worst!)
  5. very nice style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> I like where this car is going! would it be rude of me to ask how much the wheels cost? Dave
  6. I was just browsing, and I saw this car and it spurred me on to register. I've been looking to do something very similar, but was unsure of what size wheels to go for. have you had much trouble with the wheels rubbing? Like you, I'd be using the car as a daily driver so can't really put up with much chafage. Cheers bud
