  1. Depends how low you want to go, I had 40mm springs, looked good but if you're a 'Lower!' Person like me they won't do. You want coilovers any lower than 40mm. If you want 40mm springs, I have some :)

i dont want to go ridiculously low because i work on top of a mountain and i dont want to be replacing bumpers every other week. 40mm will give you a nice look stance wont it?

any how much for the springs?

  2. i've only just bought my lupo, and the one thing i do wanna do to it is lower it, i dont want it scraping on the floor i just want it nice and snug, so i was wondering, is it worth just getting springs that lower by 40mm or coilovers? plus i want abit more of a stiffer ride, my suspension is flopping around everywhere at the moment (been driving a mini for a year and half, so i kinda forgot what suspension feels like)

and how difficult is it to do myself?

    any advice would be appreciated.

  3. finally bought a nice 1.7 sdi lupo.

i'll try and upload a few more pictures when its sunny and dry. she drives great and everything works so i'm well chuffed! bought her for £1350!

it has a scuff on the front bumper, the boot door handle has seen better days, and theres a little scratch on the drivers door where it looks like it was opened into something.

apart from that, shes a beauty!

  4. i may be looking and possibly buying a 1.7 E SDi 2000 on saturday :)

completely standard, 12 months MOT tax til may. 119,000 miles (which is apparently nothing on this engine??)

  5. i'm currently looking for a 1.7 sdi lupo or arosa. so once i eventually get one i'll be using the forums for advice and questions :)

i've been in the classic mini scene now for about a year and half. and most of the people on the forums are either really stuck up or no help at all, so i've drifted away from that slowly.

and i've always been a fan of german cars so, should be fun :)

i'm not looking to go mental with the lupo, i was thinking lower it a little so it doesn't ride so high, and maybe a nice set of wheels and that would do me.
