joshuaspragg replied to joshuaspragg's topic in Volkswagen Lupo
ahh thats good points actually cheers. -
i was just wondering how to get the best out of my sdi for miles. like what would be the best speed to go on the motorways for the most mpg? what other things could i do to get more out of it? everyone was saying they can get like 400+ miles out of a tank

i'm like halfway between cardiff and merthyr

this was my first car. rover mini studio 2. 998cc

looking about £200 quid for coilovers arent you?? i better start saving then.

i dont want to go ridiculously low because i work on top of a mountain and i dont want to be replacing bumpers every other week. 40mm will give you a nice look stance wont it?any how much for the springs?

i've only just bought my lupo, and the one thing i do wanna do to it is lower it, i dont want it scraping on the floor i just want it nice and snug, so i was wondering, is it worth just getting springs that lower by 40mm or coilovers? plus i want abit more of a stiffer ride, my suspension is flopping around everywhere at the moment (been driving a mini for a year and half, so i kinda forgot what suspension feels like) and how difficult is it to do myself? any advice would be appreciated.

finally bought a nice 1.7 sdi lupo. i'll try and upload a few more pictures when its sunny and dry. she drives great and everything works so i'm well chuffed! bought her for £1350! it has a scuff on the front bumper, the boot door handle has seen better days, and theres a little scratch on the drivers door where it looks like it was opened into something. apart from that, shes a beauty!

i'm from south wales too, in a little place called nelson pretty much inbetween merthyr and cardiff.

What to do?!?!? MOT fail, sick of spending out on it!
joshuaspragg replied to jodiec's topic in Volkswagen Lupo
if you sell the car with no MOT you wont even get half of what it may be worth. so you'll be losing if you sell it and buy a new car. -
the other one would be ideal, but its to far away
