  1. lol, i know i dont cant speak for the rest of the lupo drivers style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  2. i cant help being like that tho..................wen ur only mode of transportation into uni is by car and it is always in the garage then it kinda makes u pissed off. my lupo has only done 30k on a 02 plate and is never thrashed etc so really dont see why it is so ****. i agree with what someone said on here about vw havin perceived build quality but out of all the cars my family has owned the lupo has been the worst in terms of breakdowns............and that includes my dads renault1 lol
  3. i bought a lupo..........of course i bought a dud of a car
  4. dont buy one - i have had one since september and its been in the garage 3 times - enuf said! they are ****!
  5. heres some stats for you - 106 xsi - 0-60 in 12.2secs and top speed of 115 106 gti - 0-60 in 8.7secs and top speed of 128 lupo gti - 0-60 in 8.3secs and top speed of 127 (figures sourced from the what car website) style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  6. well that ******* pedal box thing has struck again...........car went into the garage a few weeks back because it was crunchin sum gears and took some effort to change gear, they adjusted "it" and the problem was solved, altho the clutch pedal sat much higher than before........and now the problem has returned, with the clutch pedal sitting much lower than the brake pedal and there is about 2cm of movement in the pedal. Is it this bloody pedal box thing? i really do detest the lupo rite now, need the car to get into uni and back and i have an important report to be done and handed in on friday.........so in the meantime its out with the autotrader and time to get my own car - a corsa c haha
  7. i had the same problem last week, stiff gear changes and slight crunching when engaging reverse.......took it to the garage where it just neeeded some tightening, whatever it weas that needed tightening but got the car back the next day so nothing major mate.
  8. likin it alot - especially since the colour of the lup is the same as mine!
  9. definetly goin 2 that if i can get the day off work!
  10. albino lol style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shades:" border="0" alt="shades.gif" />
  11. yeh cheers folks, not got to drive on my own yet whilst my folks assess my drivin - obviously dont trust the dsa! quite weird drivin a petrol car (i learned ina 1.4 turbo diesel fiesta 06 plate) so stalled a few times, gettin less often with more practice!
  12. passed my driving test today, very chuffed means i can drive my mums 1-.4s lupo now! So if ur in aberdeen n see the car below then giv us a toot lol! altho not if its my mum drivin it because she'l think ur weird border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" />
  13. So i suppose Jo suddenly got the thought in her head about flowers on the lupo? I think theres more than a chance that she was influenced by other peoples work..............and remember katie aint makin a carbon copy, she'l have different wheels and type of graphics, flowers come in all shapes and sizes so it wont necessarily look much the same apart from the colour style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="huh.gif" />
  14. i dont suppose u have time to make a how-to with pics? style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  15. kk thanks, much appreciated! nice rabbit by the way style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  16. oh.....my............god, i am probably one of the youngest people on this forum at the age of 17 and i cant belive how childish you are all being about the use of flowers! Jo you should take it as a compliment that other people are influenced by your car, theres no way katie's lupo is goin to look exactly the same as urs, and the flower idea is hardly original, think back to the old skool vw beetles n campervans. I think some of you are being too harsh to katie, all she wanted was as she said was to make friends n share her interest in the lupo, something we shud all appreciate. Just tellin it as I see it folks style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
  17. I could really be doing with a workshop manual for my lupo as I am total useless with mechanics etc, does anyone have one because I heard that haynes do not make a manual for the lupo although i have seen cd roms with volkswagen dealer manuals for £10, has anyone bought this?
  18. Can anybody post a how-to about changin the headlight/sidelight bulbs from scratch ie from opening the bonnet because i have had a look and it lookd tricky to me - a total useless ****** lol. I have some new coloured sidelights that I would like to fit but dont have a clue how to do it style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />! Cheers
  19. Does anyone know if mk2 seat arosa rear lights are going to fit my 2002 lupo? i quite fancy a set from a black arosa, the look smart, thanks
  20. I am thinkin about fitting a backbox to my lupo, nothn major or ridiculous like you see on some fellow young drivers cars jus somethin subtle yet effective that gives it a grunt. Was just wonderin if i am likely to encounter much problems if i buy a backbox specifically designed for my model...............was havin a look ath the standard backbox and doesnt look like theres much room, wud the rear bumper have to b modified in any way, like cuttin a space for the exhaust since the standard item is not visible?
