Slicknick

Hi all, Just a quick mail to say that I drove back from the Forest of Dean at the weekend. Drove like a bit of a moron on the way back (needed a beer bad after being so polite all weekend with the `G-Friends` folks) hit !20 on the way back, not proud of it. Just thought I’d say that at that speed the Loop was very well behaved and balanced! Did think that at high speeds the Lupo would tend to jump around a bit due to the short wheelbase, but not the case at all. Also only took me 2 hours 30mins from the Forest to Blackheath South London. Averaging 90mph! Woot Woot! Slick

As far as i know my m8 said that it had gone when he got home last night. If i hear of any other sightings i'll let you know, Cheers Slick

M8 of mine told me this morning that he came out of his house, at the end of his road was a written off Silver Lupo GTI. He lives in the Clayhall area ( Essex ) Hope it's not anybody here? Just thought i'd let you know !

Does anyone know of a independent VW Dub Garage around Southeast london????? If i did find a independent garage would i lose my VW Warrenty by going through them!!!!!

Hi Guy's Had a small accident last night, driving on a small private road that had not been gritted, went to turn right unfortunately the car did not go right just slid on some black ice and went straight in a curb, Hit the curb with my left wheel no damage to body work or any other cars ( Thank God ) just seem to have bent back my front leftwheel. Now not being great with the internal aspects of a motor vehicle wondering what has happened or been broken. Loopy was not really drivable so got a low loader to take me home. ( Could of driven it very slowly but thought Better of it ) Now wondering should i take it to my nearest VW which is Pursers on the Old Kent Rd South East London or should i try and find a small local V Dub garage. Advice needed, i know you guy's can help! I need my loopy Gti back !!!!!!!!!! gutted!
