Thought I would share as my headlights have seen better days and wanted to get rid of all the stonechips and scratches etc
1st off not the best pics i know, but gives you an idea
I used halfrauds grit paper 400 800 1200
You will also need a polishing ball, I used a mothers
If you want a better finish go more grit or don't rush (I did and will end up doing again in 6months)
Front light seen better days:
Used the grit paper 400 then removed scratches with 800 then again with 1200 here was after 800:
I know its the otherside but only took a few pics!!
Once you smooth with 1200 use a polishing paste, I used auto glym on the mothers powerball and was left with:
All in all went quite well, doesn't take too long but the more you put in the better it will be
I hope the pics are in the right order!!if not I'm sure you can figure it out

Gay pride lol

Yeah take off the nuts, then press down and twist to loosen em first, then pull off, if you try and pull em straight off it won't work
-
Yeah I hear you, was pricing it up myself and you can get a roller for £100.

Why not arch enemy mate? Heard bad things?
Need mine done soon let us know who you get

Was there still interior lights in them with no movement?
I only say as I jumped in mine a couple of weeks back, speedo went a bit doolally, went off and didn't come back on.
About a week later it came back on all working fine but my engine managment light came on, filaments were touching in a brake bulb causing elec fault where they had got hot, one had melted over and was bridging against the other.
Changed bulb all sorted
Might not be but worth a try?
-
Just a update, found the light comin on engine managment was due to a faulty filemant in one of the bulbs! It was bridging on to the adjacent filament and causing it to be constantly on! Ecu sees that its on but no pressure from brakes
Throws up a warning light!
Sorted

What's the £600 for? If that's the price for a respray I'd bite there hand off! If that's the price for just the spray, with you prepping and stripping I'd go for that also.
Rattle cans can be done...but its a lot of hard work and takes a bit of confidence, how much would it cost to rattle anyway?
Either way get some pics up and let us see after
Good luck

I dunno, its not a clifford.
Don't know exactly what they were trying to connect But they had the clocks off trying to tap into rear of that...but couldn't , so have ran a wire up the front piller into the interior ceiling light?
Side repeaters..
