  1. For me its all about getting the best out of your remap

Exhaust silencers etc can create back pressure's

And your egr reburns exhaust gasses, bit of a 50-50 with that I was going to egr delete but having researched into it a fair bit, it seems that the egr valve should really open when at idle and reciculate, then close the loop when your foot is down.

Depends if your looking for a remap just for a bit of extra punch or project power.

  2. Some very poor advice is being offered to you on this thread

If you want your insurance to be valid, declare all changes, no matter how small they might be.

None of what you list should effect price but all need to be declared but pick you insurer carefully.

I am shocked that this answer was not given to you already.

    Ol,

No disrespect but if its the lads 1st car say, and he buys it with all the above mods fitted already how the bloody hell would he know!?

If the bumper badge was smoothed re-sprayed and lupo badge tdi or similar was taken off prior etc and has a couple of extra speakers in the back

Seems like a wasted phone call to be honest

Engine and major cosmetic changes agreed but stickers ffs?

Does a 30 old woman have to declare a baby on board sticker

Oh have I just took the bait on a practical joke

  3. I am biased and for me a golf aint worth owning past a mk2 unless you get a r32 can't see that

Golfs became sluggish and heavy from the mk3 onwards

    Would deffo have a mk1 gti 1st then a mk2

If you can't be swayed and are looking at mk3 and above have you thought about a....skoda? Practically a golf and more for your money vrs is a possibility

    Thanks haha
