I have a leaky shock on the rear (philj coilies without adjusters)i am wondering if i can just put a cheap gmax in its place on the one side and leave the other as it is until i can afford some shorter shocks (or adjustable)? Or do i need to replace both?
Edit to say; does anyone know of any shorter shocks which can be used with the adjuster rings out which arn't gonna start leaking?
Any help would be appreciated

Got it from a guy on ebay, it's Automotive standard HDPE which is shock resistant aswell, its good stuff!!
I used pop rivets with 4mm washers to hold it together.

does anyone know which powerflex ones on that list suit the rear bump stops on a GTI?
